Club Entice - *SAT 4TH MAR GRAND OPENING WEEKEND* Part 2

Club Entice proudly invite all our friends, new and old to join Carl & staff to our second day of the Grand Opening of Club Entice.
Not only is it the Grand Opening but it is also a birthday celebration for Carl!! To celebrate we have decided to host a COYOTE THEME party!! Yee haaa!! Get scantily dressed, dance on the bars, knock back a few drinks of 'Jim, Jack, Johnny Red, Johnny Black, and Jose; as long as it comes in a shot glass'.
We will have entertainment, laughter n hopefully lots of debauchery on the night.
Upon arrival, all guests must complete a membership form. If you wish to fast tag the queue, membership forms are available to download from the club website, complete and bring with you on the night. Please ensure you bring 2 forms of ID on the night.
Through the doors you will be greeted with fizz reception and an offer of a grand tour if you did not attend on Friday night to look around the amazing facilities we have to offer. Members are free to explore and soak in the lively fun atmosphere. Our resident DJ will be playing your favourite tunes for those who wish to just socialise and dance the night away. There is no dressdown restriction in the social area however by 11pm, dressdown is required in the play areas.
The club offers a subsidised bar with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks so please do not bring your own alcohol. Condoms and towels are free of charge. There will be a charge of £5 deposit for your locker which will be refunded at the end of the night when you settle your drinks bill when you leave.
Doors open from 8:00pm- 3:00am. Last entry is 1:00am.
If you joined us on Friday night, entry price will be
£25 couples
£10 single ladies
£25 single gents
If it is your first time, when you join membership you will get free entry:
£25 couples (lifetime)
£10 for single ladies (lifetime)
£40 (6mths) / £60 (12mths) for single gents
Dresscode: smart, casual, no trainers or sportswear will be permitted. Fancy dress is optional.
Parking: There will be a parking attendant on the evening to direct you to the free parking opposite the club (behind laserquest).
This is a guestlist only event so get your names down here if you would like to join us for SATURDAY 4TH MARCH Grand Opening/Carls birthday. There will be limited places for single guys so please ensure your name is on the list.

Fortunately it's close enough for us to get a taxi..
I would of thought the Premier Inn would be your best option on Fox street or there's the Legacy hotel on Marsh Lane, which is a little closer.. |

One website shows the best western park hall hotel as being in the middle of Preston but if you click on it then you'll find that it's about 7 miles away in charnock Richard

After much discussions I have decided to postpone the Grand Opening this weekend due to a major let down from the upholstery company who was scheduled to fit our playrooms and seating areas. It is not a decision I have taken lightly, I could have easily found another company last minute but I am not prepared to lower the quality and standards that I have maintained so far.
I apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause regarding any hotels/travel, hopefully you are able to cancel without charges. Again, my sincere apologies as this is beyond my control and will keep u updated with the new date.

Firstly, I can confirm that the Grand Opening of Club Entice has had to be postponed. This was due to a major let down from the upholstery company who was scheduled to fit our playrooms and seating areas.
Secondly, out of respect to our guestlist, we are in the process of messaging everyone individually first before posting to everyone.
It is not a decision I have taken lightly, I could have easily found another company last minute but I am not prepared to lower the quality and standards that I have maintained so far.

I think No 3 will get very busy tomoz this weekend to be honest! It's the nearest club & it's a good club too - been many times but not lately ..if I don't hop over to quests in Leeds that's where I'll be going x |

Was looking forward to it too but suppose it's for the best if the clubs not ready yet. Hope everybody gets reimbursed for hotels etc.
Also to the club management hope it all gets sorted in the end and we'll hopefully still be attending when it opens also maybe try a dry/trial run before the grand opening....don't want them swings breaking |

Sorry Harry think Infusion is couples only and you know V ,couples only narrows the options too much. Notwithstanding an offer we can't refuse it looks like the local for us. |

To say im not happy is just a start running round canceling hotels then finding another venue and hotel its now 12.25 and ive only just finalised it .. entice you left it well late to inform us all im sorry its how i feel .. roll on townhouse . . |

I'm just a mere paretaker in all of this but Club Entice was let down big style by major players in the basic set up of the club .... i.e. Upholsterers etc .... if the club had if opened it would have been unhygienic to do so .... would you want to play on beds that weren't ready .... in alcoves that would have harboured germs from the night before???? I wouldn't.....
I think the right decision was made and it was not a decision that was taken lightly .....
I back Carl to the utmost and will do into the future x
I hope you all understand and back his very difficult decision which was totally out of his hands .....

Unfortunately that's the risk you take for booking a 'non cancellation' room. I sometimes book them as they are cheaper but I always know there is the possibility I will lose the money (and I have several times). |

We are travelling from Portsmouth and have booked a hotel that is now not refundable however would have been yesterday upto midnight. I have only found out this morning. Extremely disappointed that Carl and his team even though having the guest list hasn't messaged people individually as soon as they knew to let people know. For the sake of a few hours we've lost £60!!!! |

We're very sorry to hear about this,for Carl and staff and for the club. We genuinely know carl would not have done this lightly whatsoever. His dedication and hard work is legendary. Sorry if people lose money but things happen unfortunately. There are plenty of options around.No3 is not far away in Chorley it's a great little classy club. We're very lucky to have a lot of choice in clubs in these parts Manchester, Wirral and Blackpool not far.
Entice will be a fantastic club.
If this Preston social is happening at the Station hotel at 8pm tonight I the male half may just pop along as in town for a few drinks after work.
Hope everyone finds something good to do! plan B ! |

Sorry to hear of your problems guys but clearly we all need to just make the best of it!
I'll be heading to Cupids. Some are going to other clubs and others will be going to the social - so hopefully everyone will be able to 'make the best of a bad job!'
Of course the club has been affected more than anyone - that goes without saying - but for those - particularly parents with infrequent babysitters and those on a tight budget who've splashed out on a hotel (especially those travelling a long way) this is a minor disaster too - and should be accepted as such!
I fully 'get' the single guy's comment above when he said it was easier for couples - and don't think he should have been criticised for his comments!
Couples can still go out for something to eat, go to a few nice bars (there are lots of great bars and eateries in Preston centre) and 'make the most of it!'
A single can't do that. And even if single guys go along to the social - it takes a brave woman to go back to the hotel room of a single guy if she only met him that evening! A couple will find that aspect easier too!
Perhaps a little empathy is in order rather than sniping at each other?
This is shit for everyone concerned except - it would appear - for the owners of other NW clubs!
Big hugs to the Entice owners and staff and everyone else adversely affected by this. Let's just make the best of it now? |

I'm sure Carl could still have the pre drinks at the club ? Seems such a waste that it's not opening for the sake of a few beds Could have still been a good night after all the club has a fully stocked bar Let's hope the " upholsterers " will be finished for next week ...any news on new opening date ? Fingers crossed its open for my 50th ....though the crisps might be out of date by then ..... On the bright side no 3 Is just down the road with beds ,licensed bar and upholstered beds |
