Birmingham Fab Charity Social 3rd June
After the success of last years charity social i have decided to organise a another one and here it is the 3rd of June in South birmingham
Dress Code is Suited and Booted (every women loves a man in a suit) & Gorgeous Dresses for Women
( Slinky as You dare remember it is a vanilla venue ) .........of course it isn’t compulsory
There will be a DJ , raffle , a kissing booth , fun and games
and of course the people auction
After the donations of last year for the raffle ... please dig deep again for me
Any raffle prizes you would like to donate all donations greatly appreciated
Entrance will be £15.00 per couple paid on the door
Entrance for single males is £10.00 paid on the door
Entrance for single Females £10.00 paid on the door
The venue address will be sent out a week before the event after confirmation messages
A little bit about the charity .........
Established in 1988, Acorns Children's Hospice Trust is a registered charity offering a network of care for life limited and life threatened children and young people, and their families, across the heart of England. These children and young people are not expected to reach adulthood and require specialist care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the last year Acorns has supported over 760 children and more than 980 families, including those who are bereaved.
Acorns is the only organisation that provides this level of care to these vulnerable youngsters whilst offering a range of support services to the whole family to help them cope at every stage of their child's life and beyond into bereavement.

auction list to be added soon i am looking for volunteers for the charity people auction
those that came last year know how it works.....
those that havent how the people auction works is exactly that we auction people off to the highest bidder the only catch being you have to give something away you choose what you want to give away i.e last year i gave a lapdance away to the highest bidder(that raised £200 not going for any less this year ) , some gave snogs , some gave a slow dance ....

auction list to be added soon i am looking for volunteers for the charity people auction
those that came last year know how it works.....
those that havent how the people auction works is exactly that we auction people off to the highest bidder the only catch being you have to give something away you choose what you want to give away i.e last year i gave a lapdance away to the highest bidder(that raised £200 not going for any less this year ) , some gave snogs , some gave a slow dance ....

This sounds very interesting. Can you please give more examples on what people gave away.
I am sure there are a few people thinking about volunteering, but would like to know the T&C's... nobody reads the small print so if you could share the important bits.
For example if on the night someone changes their mind and can't give away what they promised... is there a punishment? Because the highest bidder still needs to get something |

People auction exactly what it says on the tin .... auction off people to the highest bidder
It's up to you what you give away generally given out on the night or a promise at a later date
For example last year I have a lap dance away to the highest bidder it raised £200
Cheeky gave a snog away
Others gave , slow dances , cuddles , motor boating
One single female gave dinner which she paid for ...
It's all about raising as much £££ as we can for the charity while having lots of giggles
Single male spaces are limited even though it's a social would be no fun just full of single males
However guaranteed on the list as a couple |

I totally understand about single male spaces being limited.
If I knew this social has the potential of being all inclusive with dinner I would have been the first person to book in! I love food and giggles
In terms of the auction...

Please bare with me as I am trying to think what I can do. This is different and soo exciting!
I did mention I enjoy food... breakfast is my favourite. Mmmmmmmmm that could be a delicious treat for the highest bidder 
I have never been to a normal auction and this is going right into the deep end because it is a Fab auction... do you set a 'minimum' ? e.g. bidding starts at £50.
I know this is for charity, but there are some cheeky people on the guest list... I know I am worth more then a carrier bag, but if someone starts bidding at 0.05p that will be so setting a 'minimum' will make all the volunteers feel more comfortable I think |

This is the third time this has been done, both previous times the auctions have gone down quite well. And it's quite simple...
1. Decide whether you wouldn't mind being involved in the auction.
2. Decide what you will be auctioning off (entirely up to you).
3. Let yourself be known to potential bidders.
4. Let the auctioneer do their stuff to get the bids in.
5. Meet the highest bidder and do as promised knowing the money has gone to a good cause.
Not rocket science really, you can have your name added to the auction list and decide at a later date what you'll be auctioning off. No one is pressured into anything, completely your decision. |

I been chomping at the bit  to reply to Kimi's post all day and this could have gone several different ways... soo many things popped into my mind. I won't risk getting a spanking from Kimi and besides nobody will pay to see that so I will continue:

My competitive, light hearted and fun nature takes over. I can't help it so that is exactly what I am trying to do... making myself known to potential bidders while I consider getting on the auction list.
I love a challenge and look forward to finding out more from other attendees... We are in February so early days yet.

I wasn't telling you off, I was attempting to put the auction side of things into simple terms, as you seemed to be finding the concept of it difficult.
You weren't sure what you could auction off, so like I said you can decide at a later date, but confirm you don't mind auctioning off something now.
You stated you had never been to a "normal" auction, so I was basically giving you a step by step guide to how it works. As for letting yourself known to potential bidders, I believe that may be better on the night (depending what you decide to auction off) as you are just a headless suit and people prefer to know what they're bidding for and if it requires you then what you look like too.
I'm sure no one will mind you continuing to pose questions, but I have covered the basics of the auction and to be honest there's not much more to it. |

Nope, that is all mslovincheeky that organises it. I've only been to one of these, but have been to several others to know how they work etc. I know a lot goes into the organising and it's not something I have the time for. Just thought I'd help them out with your understanding of the auction. |

This is for Kimi or OP to explain again...
In my previous post I was looking forward to having a discussion with someone on the guest list seen as I am a Superman fan... but I could not get their permission to start that heated debate.
I know men have to be wearing suit for this event, but imagine if I came in my Superman costume and that person came wearing the 'bat thingy' ... I guess we will never know how that would have ended up
So while OP and Kimi have to deal with the auction question again haha what are people like on here hey

This is a Fab charity event for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust as OP has mentioned.
I don't have children, but do have neices and nephews. I checked the charities amazing website and found some interesting facts...
- They provide specialist palliative care and support to life limited and life threatened children.
- Palliative care is for the terminally ill.
- Last year they cared for 865 children and supported 1,088 families.
- They have helped over 2,630 children and their families since 1988! WOW
It makes sense for us all to come together for this fabulous event and have Fab fun.

Me personally I love kissing and it is a deal breaker.
The following questions are on everyone's mind so please don't shoot the messenger:
Is it strictly 1 to 1?
How long do you have in there? Because if you lock lips for say 5mins is that acceptable?
Can multiple people get in booth at once? Yes this is a social for charity... but is a kissing orgy in a kissing booth acceptable?
The next question is from a shy lady in here ...
Are tongues allowed!? My guess is for that kind of intimacy a fiver should be acceptable.
