Hottie and Luke's birthday social at the VA 28/6

Fellow forumites,

On the 28th of June myself and the lovely Lucy (sex_on the beach) will be hosting a joint birthday party for mine and Luke's birthdays and thought we might as well make a big social out of it! (It's his 40th as well so a special one!!)

The venue is the vanilla alternative and the theme is masquerade ball! Classy eh?? So a good opportunity for the lads to be suited and booted and the ladies to get the bling out! Think black tie for the men and red carpet glamour for the ladies. dressing up is optional though and if you don't fancy it then normal club wear is acceptable, check the clubs website for their dress code.

Now the VA is normally couples only on a Saturday but they have kindly relaxed their rules for us! But single guys will only get in if they are on the list. No exceptions!!

There is a licensed bar so no need to cart about booze and there will be a buffet too in case you need to refuel

The VA have a hotel on site so some rooms are available for £50 per night, if not there are travel lodge, premier inn all fairly nearby where you can get a room for the night, again details on the clubs website or ask myself or Lucy for details. .

The list will close one week before on the 21st then confirmation message will be sent to all those on it, only those that reply confirming attendance will be on the list!!!

Prices as follows:

Couples £35

Single guys £30

Single ladies £10

No membership needed

Slight amendment to original post...

The VA have now told us we can only have 15 single guys so as to keep the balance on the night.

There are 14 on the list at the time of me writing this.

Any other single guys wishing to express interest please do so but nothing can be confirmed till nearer the time.

Any single guys on the list that def want to come must ring the club and pay 3 weeks in advance to secure your place or you will lose your spot and it will be offered up to someone else. Sorry about this single guys we were hoping we could have lots of you but it's just not turned out that way x

Yes that is the same for the VA I've been told by people who go regularly, which is why I said not to just couple up for the sake of it. Only if you actually intend on playing/room sharing etc x

That is completely accurate, they don't want more than what they decide to be a suitable amount if single guys so fri not want people coupling up to get in.

If a couple enters together they are expected to play together and leave together.

Cute x you'd be alright. I'm no club expert. But, there is no expectation on anyone in the club.

You use the club however you wish Cute (be it for only socially or otherwise). It's just that if people are coupling up then it shouldn't be just for the sake of it or to allow more single guys to be able to go. From my understanding those who usually couple up are playmates or fuckbuddies.

Yes that is the same for the VA I've been told by people who go regularly, which is why I said not to just couple up for the sake of it. Only if you actually intend on playing/room sharing etc x

Since I am not a single guy, there's no rush for me to decide really. I'll think about it.

I'm not sure how I'll feel by the end of this month, let alone June.
