Well I had a great night at Xtasia last night, even though I did go arse over tit in the foam, which I think made Obi, Fox and Goldilocks87s night lol.

Then I tried to get into the car park only to find there was no intercom as I was expecting so I had to do a 3 point turn in the smallest space ever

Thank you everyone for a fab social. It really was fab. I apologise if i didn't get to speak to many of you. It's been a bloody difficult task trying to remember names to faces i've never seen before lol
Obi Fox - no doubt a lot of planning and ikea trips took place to organise this event. So, thank you guys for organising it.
Xtasia - thanks for making me feel welcome when i first stepped in to the club. At least you didn't pick on me this time
Forumites - i didn't even know who i was speaking to half the time But was great to finally see you all and the little screams as i stepped in to the hotel. I thought i went to the wrong bloody one til you guys started shouting my name. I did slowly come out of my shell towards the end of the night - so, who knows. May see you guys soon?
Leenw - thanks for the help with directions and just generally making sure i was alright. I appreciate it.
....now that i got the emotional side of things out the way. I'd be leaving the hotel in a bit. So, may not be able to say goodbye to you all. Hope you all had a fab night, and i sure did.

He was just a random guy who was staying at the hotel. He was trying to watch the rugby but I was stood in front of the tv, some he asked if I could move a bit. I thought he was part if the social so I sat down next to him and introduced myself and Ruby. It only dawned on us that he wasn't part of the 'crowd' when he asked if we were part of a reunion!
He was really friendly and soon got chatting with everyone so he ended up coming to the club with everyone. He was a top chap! |
