Isis Quest in Leeds will be celebrating their 12th birthday on friday 22nd november. Free buffet and bubbly.
who's coming down to help Dave and Jo celebrate?
should be a fab evening, and is usually packed, so get yourselves down for a fun night.

looking forward to tonight...hope that plenty of people turn out to show Dave and Jo their support for all the hard work they've done over the years.

Yeah but I didn't end up going all that much last time. Mostly because the ratio of single guys to girls and couples was akin to the ratio on here. Luckily I usually went with a female friend but it did put me off going alone. |

and thats why single guys dont get a very good reputation on here and in clubs....the majority are just looking for a quick shag.
swingers clubs are supposed to give you the opportunity to meet and chat to people you wouldnt otherwise come across.
our experience of single guys in clubs is that the majority make NO effort to socialise, but expect a shag anyway.

Are you insinuating that I was only looking for a quick shag? Cause you couldn't be further from the truth. The reason I was put off was because any single girl or couple were immediately pounced upon by the overwhelming number of guys, so much so they'd often disappear into one of the private rooms, leaving the bar just full of guys. That just left the big room and dark room for the pervier guys and that's not really my thing. |

i dont know you and have never met you.
i was commenting on what i see on a regular basis, on here and in clubs.
the only way to have a positive experience in clubs is to get involved with the chat and get your face known...the only way that'll happen is if you attend reasonably regularly.
makes sense to get the most out of your membership. |

I get your point, to get yourself known you have to go often but some people (not necessarily me) would call that a clique. I actually found that I chatted more to other newbies as there were a few of the regular guys who seemed to get a bit possessive and were very quick to but into your conversation with the more regular girls. |

well we've been going to Isis for years, and we always make a point of saying hello to new faces, we always include them in our chats. doesnt mean we'll play with them, but we treat it as a social night out and anything else that happens is a bonus.
as long as newbies make an effort then there shouldnt be a problem.
If you ever return give us a shout....we're more than happy to have a chat. |
