Slightly new format to the evening, as follows. Held every 4th Thursday of the month, Swingles is aimed at the single community, and those who enjoy it. Couples are welcome along if looking for singles to play with. You must be a club member to attend, and entry is £5 per person.
List of people who have shown an interest in the evening, is:

Can't make it this time round (working lates), but definitely up for next one, would be my first visit.
Just need to sort out my membership now, can I sort in advance?

I know you can pay for membership and entry on the night, just make sure that you've filled the membership form in online beforehand. Check out thier website for details and to fill in the membership form. |

You can fill out your membership details in advance, just take a look at their website. As for actually paying in advance, message Xtasia direct on here to find out about that. |

Once you've applied online, that's it, the club will have it on file so yes you can go along. You should get an email anyway though I think! |

Not right, you need to wait for an acceptance email back from us. If you haven't had a yes, then there's no point coming along, but we do get them out within 24 hours. As a couple or single female we do allow door sign ups, but not single males I'm afraid. |

Not right, you need to wait for an acceptance email back from us. If you haven't had a yes, then there's no point coming along, but we do get them out within 24 hours. As a couple or single female we do allow door sign ups, but not single males I'm afraid."

We need to encourage the ladies and couples along. Last night was still an all male affair, so we all chilled and chatted. Hopefully we'll encourage some ladies along soon, especially now we have it as couples allowed as well. Really its just like our Friday nights, but during the week. Will see how it changes once the weather turns as well.  |

See whilst it is open to couples, I don't think you will get the single women.
Allowing couples makes it no different to a Saturday night at another local club.
And getting single women in, is more than half the challenge. If the single women don't attend Saturday nights, why would they attend on a Thursday night?
I am looking forward to the uv glow party for singles in November, however, I am guessing that too will be open to couples  |

I think the first month that they tried this, they did indeed say no couples, problem is as far as I know, no single fems turned up either, so a club full of straight (or mostly straight) guys ment not the best of nights!
At least if couples are allowed there is a chance of some females being there and seeing as on a Friday night there are often quite a few single females in along with couples and single guys, I doubt the majority of single females would object.
Not sure what night the UV party is in November, but if it's a friday night it will be for couples, single fems and single males and if it's on a Saturday night, then it will be for just couples and single fems. |

Nah from the off they said couples.
They also said speed dating & trying to hook up singles, which put a lot of people off, myself included.
I think singles only, only works in private parties as there is no membership/over heads to work to. (Also only genuine singles get invited)
Go _tasia for trying it though,
and I believe it's a friday night for the next uv night :D I've been spreading the word  |

When they first posted, they said couples, but half way through the thread they changed it to singles only, no couples but that was only for the first one, they changed it back for last month. After only 2 'single' females turned up and the rest were men lol.
Again, the speed dating and other 'games' were things that were mentioned as 'maybes' for a later date, not as a deffo from the first night, more as a play it by ear with the people that turned up, so basicaly they were just floating ideas to see what people might think on the forums before doing anything.
As you say though, go Xtasia for giving it a go and I for one hope that people take a chance if their free on a Thursday evening and give it a go, £5 entry and cheap drinks, well worth it

Would be best to visit the Xtasia website first and ask to become a member there by email. Will make it quicker and easier to then sort out on the door when you go. |

You need to apply online at the Xtasia website and recieve a confirmation email back before you can attend. This will then give you all the details that you will need to know. |

Just a follow up for you all on this months Swingles. We had about a 40/60 ratio of girls to boys, so getting a lot better now, and although some were couples, they were definitely playing as singles on the night, lol. Was a great night. |
