Please see below which has been sent to all club/event organisers. Any feedback welcome. If you know of any clubs/events that are breaching these guidelines, you can get in touch by the CONTACT link at the bottom of the homepage or the REPORT link on the relevant profile and we'll take it from there.

Hi,

(This message is being sent to all event organisers). Please abide by the rules below if you wish to promote your clubs/events/socials on Fab (referred to hereafter simply as “events”).

We believe these rules are FAIR on users of Fab, FAIR on you and FAIR on us. They all help keep Fab FREE and FUN for all. Thanks for your support. These rules apply to ALL paid and free social events and this message is being sent to all event organisers over the next few days.

RULE ONE: NO COMPETITOR BRANDING

You can’t advertise, promote or arrange your events on Fab if your events feature branding/advertising for competitor products to Fab (e.g. "Swinger" apps, websites, social networks). Events that are sponsored by competitor products or display competitor product branding at the event are not permitted on Fab whether promoted by yourself or others either on-site or off site through contacts initiated on Fab.

RULE TWO: LICENSED AND LAWFUL

Your events must be correctly licensed and operated within the law. If it is brought to our attention (for example, from council enforcement officers or police enquiries) that the events or premises are not correctly licensed, they will be removed from Fab.

RULE THREE: PLAY FOR FUN, FOR FREE ONLY

Your event cannot advertise or imply that there is pay-for-sex or that people who are paid to provide sexual services are doing so at the event (NO prostitution).

RULE FOUR: NO SPAM

You cannot message anyone about your event unless they have contacted you about it first. At our discretion, you may post on your profile, post to the forum and post an event listing.

RULE FIVE: AT OUR DISCRETION ONLY

All promotion of events is at our sole discretion. Our terms and conditions explicitly prohibit commercial events from being on Fab however if the rules above are followed and we believe that on balance they are of benefit to the Fab swinging community, they are usually OK.

Events that do not follow the rules above will not be permitted to be listed, discussed or featured on Fab.

Thanks for your co-operation. Any feedback or comments please get in touch.

O o O oo

https://www.fabswingers.com/content/forum-rules

Can I remind event organisers of the forum rules please. The following are the ones that seem to be tripping organisers up.

1. Please don't post any phone numbers, addresses or personal details of someone on or off the site. In the past people have posted other people's phone numbers as a joke/harassment so it's strictly off limits now.

(Obviously you can mention the club name)

2. No links unless on the allowed list.( you can find them on the link above )

3. Deliberate or malicious disruption of the forum

If you deliberately or maliciously try to interrupt everyone else's enjoyment of the forums, for example by trying to fill up the forum with your own content (just one example), it's not fair and we'll take action.

Thanks all

Can I bump this for anyone who is not aware / ignoring anyway.

You have to stick within forum rules to be able to post events.

Obviously posting the Clubs name is fine but no address's/ phone numbers/ postcodes or links etc.

No purposely filling up the forum or threads on yours or your fellow promoters events.
