This is what makes your socials so much different than others.
The fact you care about the people attending actually making friends or at least seeing who is attending. See you there you lovely lot. And thanks again. |

Hey everyone. Yes we have quite a few that will be attending that didn't come to the first one and some attending that came to the first. We'll be working behind the scenes to make sure its another great, relaxed and enjoyable evening for everyone xx |

Being new to the scene this will be our first social of any kind. Having fun so far, a few club visits, our first meet now not quite a distant but very fond memory, we are looking forward to this social. Not sure yet whether to plan to drive back to Bideford or to book a hotel…. |

We were so gutted not to get time off for the first 1. As we we saw the date, we both had to book time off instantly lol.

hi,
As manager of the club manager I'd just like to offer the reassurance that all cameras are turned round at the time of opening then returned on closing.
I hope you can understand for the security of the venue and other legal reasons we are required to have CCTV on the premises. This however does not and will not record ANY sexual activity in the designated areas.
We are compliant with all the requirements set upon us by external governing bodies. this includes our CCTV system.
The cctv footage is only viewable by those licenced to do so and copies may be requested for legal reasons at a cost.

Most other Clubs and events don't have licences to adhere to so they are not held to the same requirements or standards of operation.
We are the only venue in the local area and whole of the south west I believe with these licences so I fully understand from your point of view it seems unusual in comparison but they aren't licenced. Other governing bodies in other areas can have different requirements, we aren't under their jurisdiction but clubs/events that are may not be required to have CCTV.
We are for several reasons required by external governing bodies and the police to have them.
We operate within the law and none of the footage is shared nor does it capture designated areas of play during open hours.
The cameras that remain in view are turned round to face the wall during opening hours. The others are boxed over and aren't visible.
During closed hours the camera are used as intended, we have CCTV notices on entry as required also.
None of the designated play areas are captured on camera during club opening hours.
I'm sorry that their presence makes you feel uncomfortable but I'm not able to fully remove them and then replace them each day the club is open.
If its of any reassurance we as a venue have no interest in recording those engaged in sexual activity only to comply with our licencing along with providing a safe venue for everyone to enjoy.
Once again if you'd like to discuss this matter further you're welcome to message me privately as I prefer to avoid causing anyone undue stress or anxiety over comments or conversation done publicly.
