As a single female I go primarily to play with single males.
I understand there were problems with some single males at last nights event, however, wouldnt it make more sense to limit the numbers rather than not have them there at all.

While I predominantly go to clubs to play with single males I completely respect and understand Butterfly's decision to remove single males from this event.
Those who attended the Halloween Ball will know why this difficult decision was made. Pandora is too big a club to police what's happening upstairs with them and there was a lot of trouble caused with them barging in to rooms and touching women without permission. It felt very unsafe for some and swinging is supposed to be a fun thing to do! We shouldn't be having our fun stopped by those who can't respect swinging etiquette.
I'm really looking forward to this event and I'm sure it will still be amazing for us all |

As a single woman who *loves* having single men at events, it is a shame to hear that Butterfly has had to make this decision. And knowing her as well as I do, it won't be one she has taken easily. But it is understandable. Post lockdown lots of clubs seem to be struggling with single men. Yes there are lots of decent single guys out there but there are also many, as evident on Saturday, who do not understand club etiquette or even common decency. Fun and safety have to be paramount.
Decent, verified single male members will always be respected and respectful but if this event excludes them, then there will be good reasons for it. |

I play quite often with single men at Clubs and more often than not, prefer events with them attending.
However, I was at the Halloween event at Pandora on Saturday and I can completely understand why this decision has been made by the event organiser, who is not the owner of the club. I was playing with a decent, verified single guy that I had met there on Saturday night and our fun was almost completely ruined by a significant minority of men who do not respect drawn curtains and closed doors. On more than one occasion, more than one single man tried to come in past drawn curtains and join in without being noticed or invited and it felt threatening and unsafe.
This Christmas event is another one I would expect to be really busy and without either security/a verification recommendation process in place by the venue, I could completely understand why the event organiser would not want to be in the position they would be put in if the other night repeated itself. The venue is so big, it's almost impossible to self police. We all have a responsibility to behave ourselves and its a shame that so many men the other night ruined it for the decent ones and for us women and couples that like playing with them. |

I was away this weekend and I've only just found out about what happened at Pandora on Saturday on the coach ride home!
Shocking! Just shocking and not a good look for the whole Swinging scene in general!
However, it's still not put me off from going to this party on the 4th Dec with my lady friend! It'll be her first time there we're both very excited about this!
I just hope that the club has learnt a valuable lesson from what happened this weekend and takes whatever measures are needed to look after its customers! |

As a Single Gent who regularly attends Pandora's and absolutely loves the parties that Butterfly organises, I can fully understand why she has made this very difficult decision.
There were far too many single men at the Halloween Ball who were not genuine swimgers and did not show and form of respect to Couples or Single Ladies or follow the club rules which disgusted me.
But on a positive note to everyone who will be attending, MERRY CHRISTMAS to each and every one of you.
