So there's a few mixed reviews about the Attic. We were thinking of going Saturday and seeing what it was like for ourselves. However, we were wondering whether single males are really as bad/pushy as they're made out to be or is it a case of one or two spoiling it and giving all single males a bad rep? Also, if anyone else is going on sat let us know!  |

Out of all the clubs we have attended we have never experienced pushy guys at the attic, we go to clubs twice a month and often choose the attic as its huge and very friendly and our favourite club!
Only downside of the attic is the guys make so little effort, last time a good number of guys in tshirts (and not nice ones) and trainers, but this comes with a low entry price and no membership needed we guess!
But never met a guy there who wasn’t friendly

No it's great we are going Friday as work Saturday, it is what you make it, no means no, and any un called for attention brewing or anyone dare touch without permission, report it immediately they will be removed. I've never been touched without permission and only ever had to say no once to two people I didn't want involvements with while restrained. The staff are great, be assertive and clear in your actions as you would anywhere like at any nightclub, plenty of private areas too |

Thanks for the reply. That's good to hear that you've always had positive experiences with the single guys/ always a good night there! Very reassuring. That's a shame about the lack of effort made by some men though X |

We are hoping to be there on Saturday and we have never had any trouble with single guys.
We love this club always very friendly and the staff are always on hand.
If there is any problems report to security and it will be dealt with.

We’ve been to the Attic 7 times and have never had problems with single guys. The bad reviews are generally single guys who didn’t get lucky. On any given night there will be a few friendly respectful guys who will chat and see if it leads anywhere. You’ll also get guys who think licking their lips or staring will get you to drop your knickers.  Great club all round, expect all sorts of different characters |

We've been many times, and - unlike certain clubs we've been to - there are lots of staff on hand watching for any bad behaviour. (single men are not allowed in as groups and are not allowed to follow ladies our couples around) |

I only went to the Attic once, on a Thursday, which unfortunately happened to be greedy girls event. Never again!
For the weekend parties, they open the whole club and it's huge. Loads of different themed rooms, and apparently much better vibe than other days.
I did have a right giggle when the sat nav took us through a roundabout called Cock Pitt on the way to the Attic though lol.

On the main no we are not, but it world be unrealistic of me to say that these situations may not arise at this or any other club from time to time. But on the rare occasion that they do the staff at this club are very good at putting a stop to it (if you let them know or if they spot it). Also just add that just because a male is unaccompanied at the time you spot him does not necessarily mean he’s a single guy there at the club on his own. Anyways I would recommend you try this club.

We've been going for over 3 years. Party nights are very busy so more single guys than normal Saturday nights. We have never had any problems with single guys when we have visited. Think maybe the problem with some is they get so freaked out with the guys who just wander about and never interact with people, its not a good look wandering up and down looking in rooms all night. Think I've seen someone calling them cock wombles. This happens in most clubs. But as we say we have NEVER had a problem with pushy guys in Attic. We have witnessed the opposite, very respectful. It is a good club, but guaranteed if you leave the Mrs alone for 2 minutes you'll have a single hit on her, happened ever time we've been to The Attic, it's like they wait for you to walk off, does piss you off but doesn't deter us going non the less. |

Clubs are really fun! We were very nervous at first but once you go you'll see it's nowhere near as scary as you first thought. You'll definitely enjoy yourselves if you take the plunge. Like others have said - just have clear boundaries beforehand and don't do anything you don't want to do! Xx |

Being a SINGLE GIRL going in on my own I've had a couple guys asking more than once but Tony and Phil esp look out for us single girls you've only got tell em... though as a very reg there now my thing isn't playing which the reg guys now no I only dance the night away ...
You're not judged and I don't feel out place there can be myself...
Party night last sat every mth are great fun busy nights... come then im sure you'll enjoy it...
Though compared to reg clubs there's next to no trouble...
Without thre Attic id not be the girl I am now.. more self assertive and confident...
I only get alt sat but come say hi.... I'm prob the only one dancing for first couple hrs lol xx

We really like the attic. We’ve had a problem once or twice with pushy guys but staff are always around to help if needed. They have a very strict no means no policy and also encourage people to shout up if they feel they are being followed or hounded.
I’m sure you will have a great night and will be planning your next visit before you know it!

We've only ever been on party nights which - as I understand it - are very different from your regular club nights, so our view may be a bit skewed.
That said, I'd say that even though the Attic is pretty cheap as far as clubs go, and maybe even a lite rough around the edges, it's a fantastic night out if you want to meet and chat with people, who may then go on to play. For us, we're kinksters who enjoy the night out with no expectation of play, and the Attic absolutely delivers.
Sure, the single guys can be a bit creepy, but if they step out of line they're soon ousted - as are couples that misbehave (hilarious as they were, there was a couple last Saturday who were enjoying more than a little chemical encouragement).
I'd absolutely recommend it. Don't go there thinking it's the epitome of luxury, but rather a club where folks have their tits out. Fab night out, and really laid back. More social than some clubs which - for those of us who aren't fussed about play - is perfect. |

Myself and my partner have been many times now to the Attic. It is basically 1 or 2 single guys giving the rest a bad rep.
We only ever had 1 issue and its was more the guy singled me out ignored my fella and thought I would go off leave him and play, at times find if fella wanders off I get approached but on the whole they are respectful when I say politely no thanks .....
otherwise I find guys respectful, each night is different
The staff are brilliant and always on hand should any issue arise and its dealt with so fast and with such ease
As the Female half I always felt safe there and always had a brilliant night out |

Mr here (experience of the attic as a couple and a single). It's a good club. Experienced a couple of minor problems with a couple of guys not obeying the rules (as we have in other clubs) which is a bit of a spoiler. Find most of the single men remain fully dress, even when hanging around the play rooms (which is allowed in the clubs rules). As people who like to dress down and be free in the play areas this can be a bit off putting. In general the volume of men, dress and attitude of a couple of single men make it hard to fully relax and totally let go. Allways feel we have to keep an eye open in this club and be a bit on guard, which impacts on the fun a bit. But on the whole we've always had fun there and probably will go back again one day. But our preference will always be a club where we feel we can relax more and not feel like we don't have to be on guard all the time. |

We’ve never had a bad night there.
Some of the single guys can be a bit annoying, but when told to bugger off, they do.
Most are respectful and polite. They’ve never been a problem. Plenty of lovely couples, which is our preference. The staff are all great.

I'd use the term 'predatory' rather than 'pushy', when describing SOME guys at The Attic. There are some who are friendly, but they are limited in numbers. Most single guys are harmless and simply enjoy being voyeuristic - unless you place yourself in their favorite sections such as the glory hole rooms, the maze, or the dark UV room.
Maybe read our last review of The Attic from about four months ago, this might give you additional info.
After our last review Purple Mamba was recommended to us by several people. We've been once and are looking forward to the return journey when we have free time. |

we've been attending the attic for several years now, never once had an issue with single guys, always found them polite and respectful.
Party night nights do get very busy but have the best atmosphere.
Always well staffed with plenty of security.
Take the plung a great first time
