Manchester (she/her)

There are probably some all over the country. Look at the reviews here, see what you think of those, look at the websites.

What concerns you?

Read reviews, look at available nights, look at prices.

"Where is the newby club"

Just someone being silly. There's no such place.

Have a look at the websites for a few and decide which one sounds the best for you.

Wherever you go, let them know it's your first visit. You will get a tour and staff will look out for you.

Newcastle upon Tyne

If you choose a reasonably local one, you'll be able to go there often, get to know the regulars, and get a lot more out of it than you ever could from a single visit.

The right club depends mostly on you, so it's hard for people who don't know you to recommend one. Go to one, if you're comfortable there keep going. If you're not, go elsewhere the next time.

All the clubs are basically the same mate, the main difference being whether you stay fully dressed once inside, or "dress down" to boxers or a towel. Some have alcohol licences, most are bring your own. As far as being a single guy visiting a club, check their websites for when single guys are 'allowed' in, as they tend to limit single male numbers at particular times, also check if there's a waiting list for membership. On the subject of memberships, be prepared for a shock with regard to pricing, and learn the meaning of 'Gender disparity'!

Never expect sex.

Don't expect the place to be filled with gorgeous people.

Be prepared for an anti-climax! They're really nothing more than a bar with music, and areas where people have sex either in the open for exhibitionists, or in private rooms for the more shy.

Be prepared to talk first to strangers, as single guys are rarely approached by others.

Try a couple of different clubs, you'll never know unless you go!

All the best!
