Hi!
We’re planning our first visit to Angels! Really looking forward to it.
We’ve booked ourselves a hotel for the night which is a short taxi ride away.
Just wondering if anyone could recommend any pubs to go to beforehand that might be walking distance?
Any guide on if we should bring something more suitable to change into for the later evening? Some clubs we have been to previously just provided a towel to wander around in which was fine but I have a lovely new valentines gift I would like to wear but should everyone be walking around in a towel, probably will leave it at the hotel!
Be good to hear your opinions on Angels and what to expect. I know it is open from 8.30 but what time does it usually start getting a bit busier?
We are going this Saturday night so if you’re also planning a visit then, would be great to chat before hand and have a drink once there ??

Hi both, great to hear you are giving Angels a try. It is a lovely Club, very friendly, plenty of rooms (open & lockable), so you can do as much as you please. In terms of what people wear, some street clothes, mostly evening Club wear (generally quite risque). Some dress down and wander round naked or in lingerie. Best bet is to check ifit is a themed night, go perhaps slightly more conservative and maybe take a change of clothes if you feel more daring? Or you could just go all in to start with! 
In terms of when do things get going, often it has been nearer to 11pm than 8:30pm, but go earlier and get a feel for the place, look around, talk to people & we hope you have a great time (it is byo for alcohol & soft drinks can be bought).
Afraid we aren’t going, might do in March, but plenty of lovely people do go.

Excellent advice from Bethnmelv.
Wear what you feel comfortable in, the ladies generally wear night wear or lingerie, some stay in their street clothes.
It generally starts to get busy at about 9 but nothing happens until after the buffet. But there's no reason that you couldn't get the party started earlier
Angels is a friendly club and I'm sure that you will have a great time. We will be there on Saturday, say hello if you wish to. |

Hi Agree with all the advice above. The nearest pub is The Bear, and I know a few people go there first. We haven’t been to the bear as we tend to go straight to the club, it’s a weatherspoon though so you can guess what it’s like. |

I don't think it's generally as busy, but greedy girls the first Friday of the month if that interests you. |

Apparently Fridays are busier at the beginning of a month due to people having more disposable income then!? We’ve gone on varied nights and found it is hard to gauge when will be really busy. We have managed to have fun on any evening we went & sometimes the busier nights make it harder to ‘engage’/interact with people as the rooms are full!
Maybe go along to suss the place out and see what you are comfortable with. You are never under any pressure to do anything.

You will enjoy Angels we go when ever we can
There are free lockers, Jess normally goes in casual clothes then changes when there
You will be given a guided tour on your first visit
Everyone is so friendly and no pressure to play
Saturday is normally the busiest night
Don’t forget to take any alcohol if you want a drink during the night
Soft drinks are on sale
We may go on Saturday night |
