I went to Bath road yesterday and was wondering where you are able to park. Obviously the Kestrels car park can be busy. Can you park on the road or need permit

You can park on the road as long as there aren't yellow lines. Usually someone from the club will be outside to welcome you and can direct you to parking. Also the Premier Inn next door can be used but you have to pay I think. We luckily got parking on the road and all was OK.

They also have an overflow car park now which is quite large, I’ve never had trouble parking.

Really? That's good. When we went last Sunday there wasn't parking so we had to park on the road. Nice bit of information. Thanks

Where is the overflow car park?

I parked in the hotel opposite and despite there being signs up saying there was a charge, when I went to the hotel to pay they said it was free. That being said I asked the lady on the desk about parking and she said she didn't know and didn't look like she cared much either.

They open the gate between the main car park and the empty office next door when it’s busy. It was open for AbFabs and kestrels Christmas parties, I parked in there. Very handy!

Yes the overflow car park is huge so there’s no problem parking on busy nights.

Thank you. It’s never been that busy when I go. Clearly I’m doing something wrong

You don’t need a permit to park on the road outside Kestrels. I thought it said you do when going there the other day.
