My first club visit was on my own to Cupids. They recommended I went during the day to see whether I liked it. Yeah it was quiet but peachy who works there was so welcoming. She convinced me to come the next night, a Saturday, and even introduced me to a few of the regulars. It wasn't long before I was bumping into people, chatting, having fun and feeling relaxed. Don't go there expecting to play and you may well find like me that you get something you didn't expect. Honestly, try and go in the day when it is likely cheaper and you can get a feel for the place. Any club you think of going to maybe message them saying its your first time because they will likely give you tips, as well as make sure you are respectful and will obide by the club rules. Once you are over that hurdle you will be fine. There are so many nice people in clubs, even if they don't want to play with you there are people there who love to chat to the newbies. But don't be disheartened if you get there late and find everyone having their own fun, people socialise early doors and it's great. |
