"What do you wish people had told you or wish you had known, before visiting a club for the first time?"
Only do what you two are both comfortable with on the night. If you drink alcohol then either of you may become less inhibited on the night and that is okay as long as you can both laugh it off and enjoy the next morning when sober.
An example is when we started, we were visiting Vanilla Alternative in Bedford and Mrs Z said she didn’t want to play with others that night and only between ourselves. We had a few drinks and a bit less weary. Whilst playing with each other, Mrs Z pounced on this male playing in the open room and just let herself go. I didn’t mind, and loved seeing her free and she didn’t mind breaking our ‘playing with each other only’ rule and found it a turn on.
Rules are there because of nerves and not just justified boundaries. Be honest where you can though. |

I wish another club owner would have told us before we took on Townhouse in 2012 that it would take 90-100 hours out of your week and would completely kill your swinging mojo in the end lol
People think that when the club closes, we all take our staff badges off and run wild naked around the club and fuck in every room. In reality, after picking up used condoms, changing dripping sheets, serving 130 people drinks and made sure everyone is happy, the last thing you want to do is play! I just need a hot shower and my bed! Lol
I love Townhouse and everyone in it but it's aged me!!! Hahaha
As for advice I would have liked before my first club visit in 2004...don't play with people who have been drinking heavily. I can't tell you hoe many times couples we've played with have had an argument after play or pushed their boundaries and fallen out. So, nowadays we don't play with people who like to have a good bevvie before playing. |

Bit difficult as not all clubs are the same.
But in general I'd wished people had told me how much of a good time I would have and interesting people I'd meet. Why did it take till the age 33 to discover the club scene? |

We hardly drink and now don’t go near couples where they drink a lot, too much hassle and is neither a turn in or conducive to a good play, problem is the scene is getting more and more skewed towards party nights where people drink and maybe dance most of the night and then have a d*unken late night fumble, it’s not swinging |

"Lol thanks for the advice.
I was wondering about the commando thing, after all won't I just lose my pants anyway "
Hopefully But when it is time to part, trying to find pants and or socks in a room with low lighting, and lots of different action still going on is time consuming, and somehow impolite in ways. Plus other horror stories! |
