Want to go to a club but not sure of the etiquette.
Jump to: Newest in thread
What you wear depends on the club. Best to check websites.
If people are playing in a public area then watching is fine. Don't attempt to join in without an invitation or asking first.
In terms of joining in group fun, again make sure it's ok to take part.
Remember no means no.
Strike up conversations with people in the bar or smoking areas
Hope this helps |

Dress code will be laid out on the website.
You can just watch in a public or voyeur area. Best way to join in is by asking if you can.
Talk to people, don't be creepy. Don't assume you're going to play. |

In the clubs I've been to, there's a bar area where play is not allowed (maybe it is at other clubs - you should get a tour and a run-through of the rules on your first visit). That (and the hot tub) is where you get to know people, and they get to know you.
There are also public play rooms, where people are free to watch and, if invited, join in. Then there are lockable rooms with windows, so people can watch but won't (or shouldn't) interrupt with requests to join. And finally completely private rooms.
There might also be a dungeon.
Some clubs provide condoms, some don't. If you call the club before you go, that's something to ask.
The clubs that I've been to are strong on the social side. The etiquette there is very much to approach people in the non-play areas and chat. People are much more likely to say yes to people that they've already spoken to. |

"Do people play in public areas or it it mainly for chatting then you take playing into another room? "
You will see how it is in the particular club. Usually there are areas for socialising and areas for playing. Note if they allow playing in the hot tub or jacuzzi, if they do probably steer clear. |

There are usually bar areas where people usually don't play. And public play areas.
Don't play in the hot tub, ever. |
