Tell me about your favourite club and why you enjoy it over other clubs. Assume I've never been to a club before. What should I expect? (don't just write this aimed at a woman, I'm thinking more, a guide to clubs for the nervous newbie, help them pick one) |

Have only been to Vanilla in Dublin few times but we are heading to RVC in Cork next month. Regardless of the club, go there knowing what you wanna do or not do and mingle. It's nerve wrecking but ppl are friendly and all there for the same reasons. Mrs x |

I've been to a few clubs but much prefer club sx where I go every weekend. It has a great night out feel with no pressure, everyone is always friendly & it has an extremely welcoming atmosphere where people can feel included regardless of their identity or sexual preferences |

Pleasures in kent. Been going there for 9 years now. Really friendly place for newbies and regulars alike. Lovely deep warm pool to relax in and a very chilled environment. |

Club SX in Blackpool is my pick.
The bar area is great, it's really friendly and everyone is welcome and included, there's no clique. I like that you don't have to dress down immediately.
The play rooms are extensive and the ideas are creative.
The staff are great, it's safe, you're looked after. |

My favourite club is Jaydees as it's very friendly and has something for everyone- open play areas, private rooms, couples room and a little bit of dungeon area. I always feel welcome there and know that staff look after all the visitors. And the hot tub is to die for!
Very close second is Chameleons in Darlaston, then Townhouse- the only club I know with fitted sheets on the play beds. |

Chams Darlaston gets my vote. Being dress-down on entry, it`s not for everyone though and the stairs to each floor certainly keep you fit! Both jaccuzzis are a decent size, the music is background and at a level that allows conversation. The whole building is in good fettle and there always seems to be a small change in something every 2-3 months, even if it`s only a light fitting that`s changed. Apart from the wet areas, it`s carpeted throughout so you can happily go barefoot. Good selection of hot food available, great staff including the car park guys and always a great selection of customers. I have been told it`s a club that many single ladies are happy to attend on their own as they feel safe and at ease. |

Hellfire for us.
Been to many clubs up and down the country and have enjoyed a lot of them but the relaxed and friendly staff, atmosphere and level of facilities at Hellfire keeps us coming back for more.
It has playrooms for all moods and a nice area to socialise in.

We've tried Liberty Elite, Vanilla Alternative, OP4F and Xtasia. VA is most definitely our fave. Super friendly staff and people, spacious and clean and good DJ too.
Still looking to try others though.

I've been to a few clubs now and so far Club SX is at the top of my list. I've been a good few times now and I'm yet to sample some of the delights of the place! Made to feel welcome straight away. Love it X |

Hard to say which is our favourite club as all are unique. Eureka on a hot summers day is fantastic, hellfire for a close friendly party night. The attic for its maze of different rooms. Le Chambre although been awhile was good. Xtasia for a night of dance and socialising. Our preferred club is chams darlaston offering all we seek in a club social areas and different play areas. |

Chams, hands down.
Big enough so theres room to play but not so big you dont see anyone all night. Most people are friendly, staff are fabulous and facilities are clean and spacious and easy car parking right out front.
I've tried chams, vanilla alternative, pandoras and mystiques but chams is definitely my favourite.

We've been to seven clubs, but The Attic is our favourite, due to:
The size (it's huge)
Variety of rooms
No "dress down" rule
The rules on dress, groups, following etc.
The staff - lots of them keeping us all safe.
Location - it's 76 miles from us, but still one of the nearest. |

Townhouse is my favourite, amazing hosts, relaxed atmosphere staff on hand all over the club and pots of condoms everywhere so no excuse for someone not to wear one |

I tend to find those who effuse about a particular club either have an agenda (they work there) to promote or they really don’t go anywhere else.
I’ve been to far too many clubs to count up and over the years have learned that it’s the people there who make the night what it is. I prefer clubs with a degree of exclusivity in regards to membership and fees as it tends to attract a better class of clientele in my opinion. It is also a vastly different experience attending with a partner compared to as a single guy.
These days I tend to pick events I’m interested in rather than specific clubs although my preference is for dress down venues or those with dress down times and areas to avoid any ambiguity.
If pushed to pick a favourite I’d go for Liberty Elite closely followed by Chameleons...but I’ve still got plenty more to visit. |

There is definitely one of the former in the replies above.
In my case, I have been to one other club, in the North West in this case, and whilst it was a reasonable evening, some of the facilities were short of the mark. Tiny changing rooms, areas of cold, stone floor and a general feeling that the place needed a good refurbish. Another simply didn`t feel like a swinger`s club (it`s since closed) and a local club that is too small to be regarded as viable in my opinion. |

I love the attic club in Derby
Go once a month would go more but travel from Liverpool
Been to lots of good clubs and met lots of lovely people but the attic tops the lot by a long way
More staff at the attic then any club been to and every single one of them are amazing and all go out of there way to make sure you have a enjoyable evening

My aim in the thread was to help people get a sense of different clubs out there, spun off from a thread of people asking about clubs in Manchester. I don't work for any clubs, and while I go to SX more than others, I've been to eight clubs in total, and tbh during my time swinging have probably visited Cupids (which I also like) more than any other. |
