No3’s - Chorley

Just a question as to why No3’s seems to be the club people ‘avoid’ (for want of a better word)

I’ve been a few times and always really enjoyed myself. Both of the owners are always really welcoming and the people I have met in there are always pleasant. The club itself is always really clean and well presented.

HOWEVER there’s RARELY any meets advertised on here by people that are looking to go - other clubs within a reasonable distance seem to have a steady flow of attendees.

I’m not trying to attract people to go or put people off going to other clubs. I suppose I’m just asking if there’s a specific reason that people know of? Is it in a bad location? Do people think it needs renovating? Does it need to conform to most other clubs and have these ‘guest list only’ style events? (In my opinion they are a huge fad - just my opinion)

I’d like to hear what people’s thoughts are? (Please keep it clean & non-abusive, I’m only asking a question)

Really don’t understand the question or the reasoning of using the word “Avoid”

No one avoids the No 3 if they did it wouldn't still be there for over 7 years.

There’s a lot of clubs around the northwest and beyond that don’t have a certain following of putting meets up all the time & there still about. The reviews say it all look forward to the responses

I don't think people avoid it at all! We regularly have guests at our club who also go to No3 and have a great night! They may not be on the forums all the time like other clubs, but maybe they don't need to be?

I've never heard a bad word spoken about the club or owners and we recommend people there all the time as we've been ourselves and had a ball.

There's so many clubs in the Northwest and everyone has their fave; I really don't think people 'avoid' no3 though?

Xx

Reviews on here are generally very good indeed, certainly as good as most clubs throughout the country. Mary & Glenn have always been marvelous hosts going back many years both here and at their last residency.

I think avoid is the wrong word. But I do understand where you're coming from.

They don't seem to have as much of an online presence, but I've been visiting on and off over the past 7 years and now host inked and kinked there and every night I've attended has had good numbers in and a great vibe.

Some clubs needs to scream and shout to get attention, others not so much as the venue and nights there speak for themselves.

I also think chorley can seem to be a little out the way for people which can put folk off. But that being said I have had people travel from either end of the country to come to inked and kinked and who will be back again so they must be doing something right!

Fab is just a section of swingers and just because there's not much activity on here doesn't equate to that being the case in real life.

I wouldn't say avoid its just not well publicised. I haven't been for over a year but enjoyed my last visit as some nice people there.

Thanks for all the replies - Just to clear something up, I don’t avoid No3 myself (I actually attended last night (the same night I put this original post up))

I have always found the club welcoming and with a good atmosphere. I’ve met some lovely people in there including Mary, Glen & Blue (owners & hosts)

I’m not sure the answer is because of the lack of Glen & Mary’s online presence as it’s members on here I’m referring to as in people don’t tend to use the club as much as other clubs in the NW & that is what I was asking really.

Hope you all had fun last night wherever you ended up.

Paul

I used to attend No 3 regularly and thought it was one of the best clubs in the northwest - I'm sure it still is.

The hosts are excellent and the club was always spotlessly clean.

Might have to venture back and say hello to old friends one evening

This is the problem with fab and people on it . They have this thing if it’s not on Fab it’s not happening. Mary and I get a lot of customers coming to the No3 and you know they use there phones they email us they text us and we have large number of customers that are not on Fab. I don’t feel the forum works for me so don’t worry if you don’t see anything on the forum the No3 is still there always check The No3 Website or just give Mary a call!! And don’t forget there is life outside of Fab!!!!!

NW & Mids

Well when I was a club virgin a while ago lol I was planning to go to No.3 as it was he closest club to me. So I rang one afternoon to make some general enquiries, my questions were around prices and events a single guy who had never been to one of these clubs before, and I was disappointed as the lady who answered the phone was quite abrupt and I got the impression she wanted to get me off the phone, so due to this I rang another club with the same questions and found the lady who answered the phone really helpful, so from my experience Ive ended up travelling further and going to another venue. Btw No hidden agenda here, simply telling it how it was. #honestfeedback

Enjoyed my visit there, wasn’t a busy afternoon but my friend and I enjoyed the rooms and hot tub, would certainly go again when in the area. Like people have said, Fabs is a small section of the scene and not entirely representative, that’s all.

We agree whole heartily. Mary & Glen are two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet...both at No3 and at their previous very popular club!!
