Hi,
Thinking of trying out a club at some point and I was just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice for me.
What are they like, what I can expect and what the general etiquette is?
Looking to try Cupids, Townhouse or Partners so if anyone has been to those that would be great.
Thanks,
Bassman |

I've been to Cupids and Partners.
Cupids is dress down throughout, so everyone will be in lingerie/ underwear or less. The changing room is right by the entrance. Partners, there's an area (the bar) where you can be in regular clothes, but the rest is dress down. Most clubs follow one of those patterns.
There's a bar area to socialise (soft drink available for purchase, alcohol you bring and hand in for them to serve) and play areas, and a wet area (no play but typically naked).
Be polite and respectful, usually hands to yourself unless invited even if they're fucking in front of you. |

I’d echo this
Also, if you have a look at the Townhouse website, there is a section for single guys that covers things like how it works, general etiquette etc - there is also a ‘what’s on’ page with the events through to Christmas. Make sure you pick an event that sounds like it would suit you too!
Google ‘Townhouse Swingers’ & check it out!
Clubs are great fun, and I’m sure you will have a ball wherever you choose! |

Thanks both, you've been really helpful, I'll check out the townhouse website too.
I think my two biggest concerns is it being a load of crappy guys and also do people play safe? |

Good clubs will manage crappy guys. Cupids is better for it than Partners, and I've heard good things about Townhouse.
Some clubs provide condoms (Cupids doesn't, bring your own or buy). That's down to self policing. |

Again, spot on ... anyone behaving like a dick will be dealt with by any decent club.
Safe sex or bareback is up to the individual, same as anywhere. Townhouse promote safe sex & have condoms available around the club & in the playrooms free of charge. Some clubs have them on reception or the bar, others expect you to bring your own. If your preference is playing safe, take some to be on the safe side!
Most clubs will also give newbies a tour round & explain what they can expect too |

"Again thank you both, really helpful, sounds like townhouse would be best then for first time?"
There’s a newbies night which is a brilliant event - Thursday 12th September. You should get your name down for that, loads of newbies, plenty of experienced clubbers & a great vibe. Little Vixen is an amazing hostess & looks after all the newbies - it’s an ideal night to test it out! x |

The best advise I can give you OP is to remember that people will be more attracted to a pleasant personality.
Some single males fail because they go from room to room in their towel like the ‘wanking dead’ without speaking hoping someone will take pity and invite them in.
Wherever you end up going, put your big boy pants on (metaphorically rather than literally!) and say ‘hello’ to people, introduce yourself, explain you are a newbie and chat... give something of yourself so people can make a judgement. Be nice!
Good luck! |
