What footwear to wear in a club?

Hi there. We’re planning on going to Cupids in Manchester this Wednesday, and I’m wondering what to wear on my feet (female) after dressing down. I’m planning on wearing a matching bra and thong under a black see through lace dress, and possibly with black or nude holdups, or just bare legs. I was thinking of heels, but would bare feet be acceptable? Also, do we need to inform the club we’re coming, even though it’s not an event? Thanks

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

As someone and one of many who go bare foot at dress down clubs, please don`t wear stiletto heels as an accidental toe trodden on is bloody painful!

They don`t do the surfaces of the play areas much good either!

Hi, you will be fine either way at Cupid’s. I prefer footwear for hygiene but I guess there are worse things you could pick up in a club lol! You will also be fine just turning up on a non-event night. Enjoy, it’s a lovely club.

Somewhere near

A nice pair of flats I usually wear in dress down. Easy to manage between hot tubs, showers n play areas

At my local club quest. Is either barefoot or flop.flops

Manchester (she/her)

Cupids have steep stairs. Heels you can walk fairly comfortably in, or nice flats (barefoot is possible to but I wouldn't).

Hiding in the shadows

I have a couple of pairs of fancy feathery furry slider things

I'm not quite sure how else to describe them

If the club has hot tub/wet area they excellent for slipping back on damp feet easily

Easy to take off in a hurry too

MrsD usually wears heels to clubs but bare feet would be fine too. Whatever makes you comfortable. You shouldn’t need to tell the club you’re coming. Enjoy your first visit

Here and There

Lots of steps at Cupid’s, barefoot is fine but flats would be better.

Thanks for all your replies. They’ve been most helpful and reassuring, us being newbies with clubs.

I have brought some heels with me, but I do prefer flats for comfort and probably will wear them on the night, rather than go barefooted!

I always wear My sliders in swinging clubs because they are very comfortable and very easy to put on and off.

Considering I’m a squirter, that may be a good idea!

Speaking as someone who prefers to be barefoot in a club, I hate seeing people in stilettos. I’ve had a couple of pretty nasty injuries & my partner has a fractured metatarsal from being stood on by a carelessly placed heel

As a couple of others have said, I wouldn't try heels at Cupids again because of the steps.
