There are a few local buses which run from T5 to the thistle - not sure how late they go but they work for kestrels times. |

Pretty sure you can only use the pod to the Thistle if you are staying there. |

Take the Heathrow Express if you have money to burn - mile for mile it's the most expensive train in the world. Take the tube to Heathrow Central and one of the perimeter buses from there. |

Hi all
I was pretty regular visitor to Abs/Kestrels. Firstly well done to the owners and staff for getting another venue for a great club. Can anyone tell me if there is a sauna? Also are hot tubs running yet. We have to plan in advance to visit and want to come when the facilities are up and running.

The hot tubs have been delivered, three in all. The floor has to be painted and the tubs plumbed in yet but they are on it, |

There is a sauna and steam room but not working at the moment. It’s on the to do list. The jacuzzi room should be open in about 3-4 weeks hopefully. |

Friday’s are usually busy
But the vanilla alternative club has a festival of fun event open this weekend
And many couples are going to that, as a result might be less busy this weekend |

I’d agree with your observation, I’ve been to many new events over the years that as they got popular were just too busy. Playrooms full, too hot, no room in wet areas, too noisy. |

Second visit on Friday 2nd August was highly disappointing. Mainly because too many men and hardly any couples and single ladies.

The club is also open on a Monday and Wednesday night (not mentioning daytimes) so you ha e other times you can go. |

Some form of controlling the m:f/mf ratio should be in place.
There’s no point of trying to maximise income by just allowing tons of single men in....this will result to people not returning |

Which meant it was very enjoyable

It’s a fine line between the income from guys and the putting off of couples who will then just go on a Saturday if they can - then the guys won’t go on a Friday as ratio even worse - then couples come back as guys are fewer ......., and so it goes on ! A nightmare I assume |

I tried it on a Wednesday evening a couple of weeks ago. Not any people at all, mostly guys. Still, Emerdale Farm was on the big telly which is fine if you like terrible soap operas.  |

All clubs face this particular situation. There is a balance to be struck. I would imagine,based on the crowdfunding situation, that the club is somewhat cash strapped and the more single guys means more money. It's a simple decision, accept the situation or if you are going to attend then go on a Saturday when the single gents are not welcome. |

The single guy price puts off many decent single guys also a lower entry fee would get a turnover during the night (20 quid...nothing going on go pub 50 quid nothing going on...stay, might get monies worth later).

Personally i prefer going as a couple and rarely go on my own now because of attitudes towards single men and my friend prefers singles nights due to not being bi. funnily enough inappropriate touching is usually from the male half of couples due to us not expecting it. (Happened in a pool recently).  |

We think it’s better being on than off. Had 3 session cut short as it’s too hot with it off.
The number one issue is consistent temperature.
On Monday the AC was perfect everywhere till 6pm.
Sadly empty cinema most of the daytime and AC on.
Really busy cinema in the evening sweating bodies melting and AC off. Zero logic.
We’ve avoided the club on the really hot days and gone elsewhere as I can’t be done with it being too hot, it prevents long or group sessions. |

I agree with what your saying. However I was in there with a gorgeous lady about to play and she had goosebumps all over her skin due to it being so cold.. we had to take things to the play room as the temperature was was far too cold. It would be good if they kept it at neutral temperature instead of it being chilly x |
