I received a email earlier today saying Kestrels was reopening.I never got a opportunity to go to the old Kestrels but I will be looking to go mid July.The picture of the indoor pool looks amazing. |

For those of us that have only ever been to swingers nights/clubs, can somebody please explain what happens at Kestrels duding the day? Specifically:
* What kind of crowd is it, fewer than a club night? Younger? Older?
* Do people go there to play or to lounge about?
* Is play allowed in public areas or do people go into cabins for that?
* Do people spend all day there?
I guess I always assumed it was mainly about the nude sunbathing, a bit more like s standard nudist club but now it's only indoors it can't be that. Is it more like a social club?
Big fan of Abfabs and have joined again but I guess we never really got the memo re: Kestrels. I guess part of that is that we're normally at work during the day. |

I'm going by what the old one was like! That's my experience and been there enough times! And that's what the ratio was like! That's why I prefer going couples nights! I remember going as a couple during the day and had blokes following us about from the pool to to jaccuzi to the dungeon room lol... Sorry if you are offended but that was my experience |

We won’t be running any additional night yet. We need to get the daytime and evening running smoothly. And the dungeon needs a lot of work before we can hold any HDZ.

Sooner than that, plan is to have the runway done by 2026 - but that's if it's on schedule, which we all know never happens with any major govt project in this country. That's if it's actually happening at all, someone may still come to their senses and realise building a tunnel to submerge Britain's busiest stretch of motorway is ludicrous. Just widening it took years. |

You would not bore a tunnel . Just dig a hole next to the motorway. Make a concrete box with road inside it and divert m25 through it and put the runway over the top . not long at all . |

Sooner than that, plan is to have the runway done by 2026 - but that's if it's on schedule, which we all know never happens with any major govt project in this country. That's if it's actually happening at all, someone may still come to their senses and realise building a tunnel to submerge Britain's busiest stretch of motorway is ludicrous. Just widening it took years.
You would not bore a tunnel . Just dig a hole next to the motorway. Make a concrete box with road inside it and divert m25 through it and put the runway over the top . not long at all . "

They are currently building the hottubs and steam rooms not ready yet! A sauna is also on the plans eventually

Licensing is here nor there as hot tubs havnt been installed yet except a solitary one next to the pool.
Has the club explored the option of opening the roof terrace up?? It will give people the chance to sunbathe and it could be similarly designed to compare what they have at Chameleons .
Neighbouring buildings cant see it especially with screening around the outside.
It may cause planes to crash though, as it would distract me if i was landing a plane lol
No doubt people will say forget the old club n move on but if this makes it better why not??.
How will this club match the old clubs revenue without that aspect. All the top day spas have sunbathing areas ( Rios, Silverleigh, Bristol gardens, Chams etc). They need to consider this if they are considering being the best and making the business sustainable as i would imagine there over heads are big. |

I visited yesterday daytime time and here is my honest review
From the outside have no idea what it is so just look for the 420 bath road sign above the door.
As it was daytime parking wasn’t an issue. I travelled by public transport and easy enough to get to as bus stop right outside the door.
Check in was easy and professional looking set up with turnstile entry system.
Staff provided a guided tour of the club.
First stop changing area, it’s massive with loads of showers and lockers.
Next stop through corridors lit by red glow bulbs was to see the area where the hot tubs will be, this area is still being worked on so not open yet.
The indoor swimming pool is next which was lovely and warm. There will be a jacuzzi in there but that’s not open yet.
On the corridor opposite the pool there is a large private play room and a massage room.
Now upside into the social area, lovely big sofas to chill and chat with a pool table and football table. There is also a bar serving hatch in this area, I only had a coffee but prices seemed reasonable.
To the left is the ‘club/party area’, with dj booth and a large dance floor. Opposite that is the cinema room with a massive screen and loads of sofas.
To the right is the dungeon area, which in my opinion needs a bit more work as it is obvious this room was used for aerobic classes in a past life so needs a bit of ambience but guess this will come with time. Next to that is the familiar cabin playrooms, the gloryhole area and the darkroom.
They are still working on the cafe area so guess won’t be long before that opens.
Have to say when first got there I did feel it had a nook and cranny feel and did manage to get lost in the changing room but by the end of the day I had found my bearings.
All in all was great day and can’t wait to spend many days chilling

Maybe the club should consider limiting single guys each day and make ratios more suitable for all? Ie don’t have 20:1
Another club I attend does this and it works well. Usually 3 or 4 :1

With the club only recently re-opening and there still being much work to do it would be wise to give things a chance to settle down. Numbers will be undoubtedly be unrepresentative at the moment. Perhaps when some single guys get bored of going for "nothing" they may well go elsewhere? |

This club is no different to any other. All women get followed, be they part of a couple or not, it's just the way it is. It's a sex club and sex clubs attract men looking for sex. Quite honestly I don't know why people are so shocked by it. If you want a naturist club then join one as they don't allow sexual interaction as naturisum isn't about sex, it's about being naked. Maybe the club should decide what it is during the day. And maybe a definition would put an end to the hoard mentally as everyone would know where they stand. Of course this won't happen as the club needs the men as they pay the majority of the money and money talks. |

I was there on Friday and the cafe was not open but buffet food was provided in the evening. I know there are plans to open it and when it does it looks like it will be a great space. |

We are waiting for a few licences before we can open fully. The cafe is not open to sell food. You will be able to use the cafe seating area to eat your packed lunch. We unfortunately no longer have the facility to store or heat food. This is due to cross contamination. |

Tbh we didn't do the Dungeon,but new one has a window you can look through, its got the hanging cage from old ks a metal "crate" (sorry we have no idea about the technical term ) a swing,and err some other stuff. |

First time at the new venue on Monday bi-night. Met a few of the old club members and many new members. Mostly single guys but some couples and a couple of single ladies. Lots of playing by the couples in the cabins and cinema. Very spacious and clean throughout. The swimming pool is magnificent, the cinema twice as big as before. Large lounge area and plenty of play areas including wooden cabins, Once the hot tubs are up and running, it will be even better! Yes there is no outside facilities bar the smoking area, so move on everybody. Abfabs/Kestrels is very much alive and kicking. Three cheers. |
