I have arranged for a Top Midlands DJ to come and play for the Bi night at the start of May.Just some funky, soulful house. How many people do actually like to have a bit of a dance at swingers club. I know play is an important factor for alot of people but I do believe music is an important factor and can create a good vibe right from the beginning. |

Problem is you rarely know who will turn up for a club night and more often than not the DJ played what they like rather than what the customers might want to hear. I've been in clubs with a near desterted dance floor and no one enjoying the music.
If you are going to get a decent DJ in personally I'd have thought the _tasia route of having a night based around the music is a better bet than hoping that funky soulful house is a popular choice with people attending a bi night. |

Yeah I see what you mean. The only time we have managed to get people dancing is with some funky house with the DJ playing to the crowd that was in. Unfortunately hes unavailable at the moment. |

Depends on the club night, for the younger crowd nights a DJ is fairly important, for us oldies nice back ground music so we can hear what other people are saying and then maybe cranked up at 9ish with classics for an hour fir a bit of a dance, then back to back ground so we can go off and play and be home with a cup of tea at a reasonable hour would be perfect...
TBH I think a lot of us oldies avoid the nights with the “named” DJ |

We love dancing at clubs but not many clubs have a DJ or play the music that encourages it.
VA has a brilliant sized dance floor but it rarely gets used which is such a shame. We'd probably go more often if it was a dance club as well as a lovely club to play in.
Dancing is a good ice breaker sometimes too. And can be very sexy.
