We always look out for black girls in clubs. There really isn't that many though. In fact I could probably count on both hands the amount of black girls we see in 30 to 40 club visits... Plenty of black guys though. Definitely on the rarer side in the Leeds, hull and Manchester clubs we have visited xx |

There is one in Radlett but, at least the day when we went, very poorly attended. About 20 people in total, mostly couples and single men. I think we'd need to know it was going to be busier before we thought about trying again. |

Unfortunately, it's overdue. The problem is, many black women including my wife, dislike being fetishised for their skin colour.
We would love to attend a night that is catered towards black women and people who appreciate them, but it is essential, the colour fetish has to be trashed before we begin to experience successful parties.

This was my issue with my first club visit.
I am a decent looking woman however I was the only black woman among a sea of couples and single men. Every where I went I was followed and oggled at.
Dont get me wrong the atmosphere was delightful and everyone respectful but I could have done without the....omg a black woman let's feast.....as it was overwhelming and felt intimidating and off putting so much so I did not play.
For me had there been more single women any attention I received I'd have known it was for me and loved it.
And had the approach been less bee like...I would enjoy and be more tempted to indulge.
I'm venturing out on my own ...first time...tonight and hoping I fair better. |
