We are planning to go out this Saturday as our this weekend hot ruined as we decided to go watch movie and ended up in being too tired to go to VA.
So for sanity check, we are wondering where is everyone going this weekend i.e. 13th April.

You missed another good Saturday night at The Vanilla Alternative yesterday. As for next Saturday, all 12 of the club's onsite hotel rooms are taken so that's a good sign that it's going to be another busy one. |

I don't think you can actually compare those two places. As even though I've never been to VA, I don't think there could be two places that are further apart on the scale.
VA presents itself as rather "posh" club, in which you need to be ok with other people enjoying themselves in close vicinity, as there are no private rooms, just nooks and crannies if more privacy is required. They are fully licensed and provide facilities like big hot tub etc.
Rio's is a sauna-based club in central London, where you don't require membership to access. You just pay your entry fee and gain access to all facilities. It is sauna-based, so you get some jacuzzis, steam rooms, saunas, as well as a pool (rather cold). They do have some lockable private rooms, too. Saturday nights are couples only nights, which means you shouldn't be followed by a pack of men (apparently quite a regular occurrence on other days).
To sum up, the choice between those two clubs depends on what you are mainly after. If just relaxation in a sauna-like place, then Rio's. If you want something more upmarket, with plenty of others, then VA. |

Yes indeed we did, and we regretted but learnt our lesson "not to go cinema before 6pm if planning to visit club late evening" lol
That's really is good sign, it tells us it will be packed. And we are kind of looking for club this weekend where there is huge traffic.
Out of interest how many rooms are on site? And is this any special event on 13th? Thanks in advance

I did mention previously that we have 12 onsite hotel rooms and it's not unusual for them to all be fully booked for a Saturday night.
Next Saturday is one of our regular Saturday Soiree party nights where we average about 80 people attending. The following Saturday, which is Easter weekend, we have a Black or White themed party and to round things off for April, on the 27th CHIC are holding another of their very popular nights and there is a separate thread in the CLUB EVENTS part of the forum for that one. |
