I am not from your area so not sure on clubs where you are.
But look at club websites and they should list what they have on various nights. As for age all ages go so age really is not a problem at clubs.
As for nerves, I think everyone is nervous on their first time as you just don't know what to expect but we have always found everyone really friendly and there is no expectation to play or you can just play on your own.
Radletts parties are great fun and more middle aged people we love going and have always had a great time |

"The Attic is not much over an hour from you, and there are lots of us middle aged types there on Saturday nights.
(we'll be going again on April 27th)"
We agree, Attic is our favourite club. Our next Visit is Saturday 6th April |

Remember that everyone nervous about their first club visit but you will be made most welcome by the club's staff and your fellow guests. Just let the staff know it's your first time and everything will be fine. I would however suggest you go midweek for your first visit so that you are not overwhelmed by the sheer number of people there. And unless you are specifically seeking single guys, going on a couples/ladies only night is probably a good idea.

This was me (female half). It’s taken us 5/6 years to get to a club, now I don’t know why we didn’t do it sooner. I felt ridiculously nervous about the whole idea and just didn’t think I’d like it. We’ve now been to two different clubs in just over a month.
There is usually a member of staff to show new members round, and they really do make you feel welcome. And they usual point out other newbies to you.
We’ve honestly felt so welcome in both places we visited and relaxed into it very quickly.
We felt more comfortable with a couples only night to begin with. |
