Good luck, iv been a few times and i found it to be an unfortunate experience. Great venue, saunas, steam rooms all great. 2 x hot tubs of which are small home owned types. plunge pool to cool off and also a sort of bubble bath pool? Seating area with few light jets.
I found it to be very male dominated with a few females 10-1 ratio! of which would have been okay, but most of the males followed a female around like sheep! Got embarrassing to be a male to be honest! Also had a foreign chap lose it with a couple, as she didn’t want to play! He kicked off got quite nasty...it tends to be quite male ethnic majority attendance.
That said, iv only been twice and it was in the evening during the week. Have seen some positive comments from some on reviews? So have to roll the dice and take your chance I think, as every day / night varies at each club.
Go with open mind, look to chill and IF something occurs then makes for a better visit.

Thanks for your help. Read mixed reviews so wanted to hear some impartial advice. Like anywhere I guess, establishments always being overrun by single guys pushing their luck and lack of respect. Spoils it for us genuine single guys. |

I only went to Rio's once, on a Saturday night which is couples night. It is definitely a good spa, but I wouldn't count on more. Apparently, as others said, there are mainly men there, hardly any women or couples. Also, as they don't require a membership, anyone can come in after paying the entrance fee. |

We have mostly been ok.
Only one idiot.
We have been at busy times and it’s been fine.
Just like other places with the following. 
Never actually been during the day.

Rio’s is a dump which is devoid of single women with a sprinkling of couples.
Best avoided unless you like desprate single men with little to no manners that will treat any women who dare to step foot in that dump with no respect at all.
I struggle to see how such a dive manages to stay in business. |

. I have been to Rios late afternoon from 4.00 pm the ratio can be 10 guys and 1 lady as has been stated earlier.For a single guy Rios is hit & miss the advice I always offer is go and enjoy the facilities and anything more is a bonus.

Have been a few times, mostly in warm weather when you can sunbathe in their little garden out the back. Hardly any women when I've been, wearing swimming costumes aswell, thought it was a naturist spa. Ok to chill out, anything else is a bonus! |

Thanks everyone for the heads up. Curiosity got the better of me and spent a couple of hours there from 5pm. I have to say that the club itself surprised me, from what was being read on this forum I was expecting it to be a right dive. It was clean enough. However, all the bloody single guys - will you have a bit of respect for yourselves and each other. I was cringing at seeing a lady enter the sauna then immediately a dozen men follow her in. She would then leave rapidly and head for a steam, most men followed. I observed most of this whilst sitting in the sauna, on my own I might add, although I was hoping I would be joined by a female anyway, guys would look through the sauna window, see that no female was inside and move on. I enjoy a bit of good old fashioned adult fun but there are ways to impress the ladies. Come on guys, stop putting us decent men to shame. |
