I dunno If you've been to the Dam before... i'f you have fair enough go to a club. But it's such a wonderful city if you've not been before just enjoy the place  Theres one decent club that we're aware of amd a couple that are no goes. Online reviews make which ones quite obvious. X |

We love Amsterdam and would say that we haven’t ever been ripped off. It is however very expensive these days. So take plenty of spending money. Club wise there are trains and busses that you can get that go fairly close but you will need a taxi back . Pay upfront in the taxi if you can. They all speak English so if they refuse just get another one. Plus there are always other couples heading back into Amsterdam so split the cost . We got a lift back with one of the girls that worked on the bar in one of the clubs last time we there . |

Last time I went to Amsterdam I was pregnant so I couldn't drink or smoke.
Looking at it with sober eyes I found the centre pretty seedy and depressing, but that might have been my hormones.
There was dog sh#t everywhere too.
Look out for the (silent)trams and bikes which try to kill you.

I thought I was being oversensitive and paranoid about the bikes - they do try and kill you!!! |

We've just come back from a 4 night stay in Amsterdam. We went to Fata-morgana and had we an amazing time. We went on a Saturday night and it was really busy with a good mix of couples. All really friendly and spoke English. Entry is 125 euros per couple but that includes all drinks and food. We paid 19 Euros each way in a taxi using Uber. Go for it and we hope you have lots of fun... |
