Hi All,
So heading to a event tomorrow, and would like some points of view on what, for us guys, comes across as sexy or to desperate?
Thoughts on underwear, outfits or just things that should be avoided. |

I treat it as if it was a first date. Polished, good aftershave, trousers and shirt. Best underwear though as we were at a party last week and as things started one of the girls said “Right boys, show us your Primark pants”. I always have good underwear and socks. The girls notice. |

Absolutely!
We often see men wearing jeans, t shirt & trainers, or worse - joggers - and always say, "no effort = no reward" |

New Years Eve, whilst at the bar I noticed the guys wearing a casual jacket, shirt, trousers and nice shoes were certainly getting the girls attention. Admittedly some were very handsome so I’m sure that helps ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Nice pants (I don't care about brand, as long as they don't look tatty), clean (isn't universal I'm afraid), a bit of perfume/ aftershave if that's your thing. Towel around waist for dressing down is fine too, decide if you're comfortable barefoot or not.
Clothes: smart casual or a bit above, preferably a bit above. |

Wear a suit or form fitting (not skinny) blue jeans and a white short sleeved form fitting t-shirt but with boots, not trainers. if you can pull it off. You can't be overdressed but you can be under. Just forget about that thought. Go with the suit |

Don’t overdo the smellies either, so often people put too much on and I end up smelling of strong aftershave instead of Chanel No.5
I would say that for the vast majority of women, a man looking like he has put thought and care into his appearance and knows how to smile and socialise, will be popular and someone we are drawn to. Jeans and a shirt can look both awful and attractive, it’s how you wear them ![](/icons/s/twisted.gif) |

"I am known for my certain item of attire.. .a black kilt! Worn with lace up boots and a smart black or striped t shirt. Always an ice-breaker and you do get noticed more "
Yes, quirky in a good way can help if you can pull it off! I once got chatting to a guy at a club wearing a quite unusual brand of boxers I know and like. I know another who wears superhero themed stuff (not for everyone but it's his character and he pulls it off). |

Oh god, yes. I don't want to eat, drink and breathe your aftershave. Less is more. (ditto perfume) |
