Never been to a club before, had a look at the reviews for a few clubs round my area and this one really stands out from the others. But I'm nervous as hell about going to a club, having never been. Am I silly to be nervous. What was everyone else's experience of attending for their first time. I also have no expectations for my first or any time if I decide I love the atmosphere. What really makes angels the best from the bunch. |

We've been twice, once ages ago before the expansion, and once since they enlarged it.
Both times the locals were very friendly, just let the owners know you are a newbie and they will look after you. |

It's my go to club.....
When I first contemplated attending I sent about a dozen emails asking questions. Probably questions they'd been asked a thousand times before. Not once was I made to feel daft.
First time I went I was VERY apprehensive. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Gave me a guided tour, told me the rules and introduced me to a few people.
I love it there.
Very relaxed, great staff, highly recommended.
In fact, I'll be there Saturday night.  |

It was one of the first few clubs I went to on my own a few years ago. It is always friendly and a fun night. It’s often just a social for me there and I have never felt any pressure (and if you do just let them know and they will deal with it). Like all clubs, there are a few regulars that know each other but it’s possibly not quite as cliquey as some others. The crowd varies in age range and is usually a good mix of couples and guys, perhaps 1 or 2 solo women.
The only thing I don’t like about the club is the walk in from the car park. If someone is outside smoking when you park up then ask them to Walk you in. It’s perfectly safe I’m sure. And it’s on cctv, but there’s a couple of corridors with dark corners and it gives me the eebie jeebies every time.
If I’m on my own and driving I normally ask someone to Walk me back to my car.

Great club, really welcoming and a brilliant place to go for your first club. As you are looking for ladies, it might be worth putting an ‘ad’ up to show when you are going - you are the rarest of beings
I understand V’s point about the entrance, but it is perfectly safe and well lit. Up the stairs, round to the left, then left again! 
Most of all, enjoy yourself and avoid big pants at all costs! |

I can certainly imagine there's mostly men there. But I didn't think it would be that rare to see a lone woman. Pants as in trousers or undies cause I don't own big undies haha |

I'm considering a club but very anxious to go alone. Does anyone know if it's easy to get there by public transport or should I attempt to find a lift? X |

Depends on which club you're going to.
As most of them close around 3 in the morning I'd guess public transport wouldn't be an option..... |

As most of them close around 3 in the morning I'd guess public transport wouldn't be an option....."
Very true. Not driving sucks sometimes! I've been to steamers once but would like to try angels and secrets. X |

I'd never be able to get to and from Angels without a car.

Its a fantastic club. We've been many times and we are always made to feel very welcome. Each time we have been there has always been someone new and each time have seen the owners show them around and check up on them through the night. We would highly recommend this club to you. Who knows one day we may bump into you x |

Angel's is a very nice club. Been to 5/6 clubs and this is my favourite. I have never been on my own before but it would be the only club I would go to solo. If you want someone just to meet up and have a drink with to start you off I am more than happy to meet you there but am sure you have plenty of offers. Enjoy. Xxx |

We don’t have a ‘normal’ pattern in anything we do! It depends on too many things - mood, where we are, what event is on, what other things we are doing. We aim to go more often this year, but it won’t just be to Angels. |

I'm not sure what's normal anymore.
I'll be trying a few new clubs this year.
I've been to Cupids, great club.
Off to Liberty Elite later this month.

Liberty Elite is nice, we went for the Hotwives Club event which was a lot of fun.
We are big fans of VA too.
However did have a very enjoyable night at Angels on Friday but it seemed a little quiet - time of year we guess. |

I've stopped going to Angels on Fridays, Saturday night seems to be busier.
I suspect proximity to pay day and other local events are factors too though. |
