To be honest it’s all down to price. Last time we went we stayed at the Ramada in Wakefield. Taxi was £12 each way. Hotel was £60

Jurys Inn is a good option. Check the who's near function when you're there and you'd be surprised how many fabbers use the place. Makes for a very interesting stay!

Is Bradford anywhere near? Just tried a post code search and it brought back a load of hotels in Bradford as opposed to Leeds.

I’d check how much parking is at any hotel you try to factor in that cost. Some of the city centre ones are silly money almost worst than London.

If your driving then Wakefield would be good days inn premier inn all just off the motorway which are reasonable

Bradford’s an option, you can always get a room there but there’s a reason for that....nobody goes there!!

We stay at the village hotels and get a cab, it's not expensive and if you get there early they have a pool
