VA Festival of Fun 2019 dates?

Long shot but we want to book for Boomtown on 2nd week in Aug and would love to attend the VA FOF again.... this year it was the first weekend in Aug... so no clash 
Any idea of dates for FOF?
Obviously I will ask VA directly but the VA comms are erm, sketchy at best...
Ta for any info.... we may just take a flier and book Boomtown as its an amazing festival...

I’m skipping Boomtown next year. Glasto and shambala for sure. FOF and swingFields hopefully. Has Boomtown sold out yet?

We’ve heard a lot of good things about FOF so hoping to go this year.
Can you book the hotel rooms now or is it included in the tickets?
Also anyone that has been previously we’d love to hear how you found it and what to expect.

I was there 2018 and the Friday night in 2017. It’s mental fun even if the weather is iffy which it hasn’t been.
Completely relaxed vibe, lots of people, no dickheads with plenty to see, eat, drink and whatever else you want.
Toilets and showers clean and hot. Hot tubs too with a big open air bar. DJs are awesome and Brandon Block went down a storm on Saturday night.
Tickets include your camping berth and I suspect hotel rooms are extra. Personally I’d prefer to be outdoors with the other 300 people waking up the campsite with the sounds of Sunday morning sex  |

I would guess that all the onsite hotel rooms have been booked for some time but as I'm not at the club just now, I can't verify that. You could phone the club after 11am to find out. |

On site hotel rooms are extra and usually fully booked up long before the festival.
Camping is a small supplement each night to make it fair for the people who stay off site. In my opinion the campground is definitely the place to be, so much fun.
I go regularly to the club and absolutely love the festival, it really is a highlight of the year.
Very well organised, with indoor and outdoor bar and catering facilities, absolutely beautiful campsite, with a canal running through it.
A fantastic fun atmosphere of people hanging out around their tents, dressing up for the night time entertainment, fantastic fun atmosphere of people hanging out at each others tents, and getting naked in the wood fired hot pubs.
Last year there was an afternoon foam party in the heat of the summer which was amazing, followed by Brandon Block literally taking us on a musical journey in the evening.
All this coupled with the house DJs dividing fantastic tunes inside and out, and the indoor spacious hot tub really makes it quite a weekend. |

Last year (2018) a weekend pass for a couple including camping was £170. I don't know if there will be any change for this year yet.
If you go to the CLUB EVENTS section here and enter 'Festival of Fun' in the search box, it will bring up the threads from last year. Most of the general information will also apply this year. It also shows the other prices for last year.
Unfortunately you will have to wait another couple of months until tickets go on sale in May and further details are released. |

I can’t see the camping event on the VA website but it does coincide with a Mix event which is bi/tv/pan inclusive on the Saturday so this could be a good weekend. Is it VA organised or just a bloody good idea?

The VA website continues to present some technical issues and we apologise for that. In June, Summer Solstice will replace THE MIX and our normal Friday night party over that 4th weekend.
A full list of events at The Vanilla Alternative during April is posted in the CLUB EVENTS forum here, and that will be followed by similar listings for May and June in due course. Individual event organisers for Bi-Night, Freedom Friday, CHIC and Summer Solstice have there own threads.
Tickets and further information for the main Festival of Fun event over the 1st weekend in August will be available in May. |

The VA Festival of Fun generally starts on Friday 2nd August (although Thursday arrivals can be sorted by prior arrangement). It ends after the Saturday night fun and people leave, if staying on site, during Sunday.
A limited number of caravans can be accommodated but there are no electric hook-ups.
A very limited number of single guys have attended in the past but it's entirely at the club owner's discretion. |
