is there are females who have been to clubs and want to take me with them... show me the ropes kind of thing? Obviously based down South please but happy to travel. |

Put on your big girl panties and go .. If I can do it at my age in 2011 after years of marriage and motherhood being very homebound so can you.
I joined Kestrels I met people and went to clubs for socials. I drove and paid for myself just like many others.
You dont need to rely or be beholden to others. Just go to the meets and clubs section and choose a date. Dress up and turn up .. have a fab evening . After the past 3 years again not going out I went to a social in London..

If I lived nearer I’d go with you OP. I would never have had the guts to go to a club on my own for the first time. I can totally appreciate how you must feel. Luckily for me a very kind and generous fab friend took me along to her local club for my first time and the one after that. I met some lovely people and they were all very warm and welcoming. I’m sure there will be a few ladies who will offer to accompany you. X |

I live near Plymouth so a little way from you I know.
Social and clubs would be something I'd be interesting in doing with another woman just to get the feel or swing of it so to speak. I have been to a club before but only once.

I can see the appeal in having a female friend to go to clubs with. Im painfully shy so could never walk through the door on my own. Someone to have a drink and a laugh with and to talk all things fab. |

Do you drive? Jaydees is do able Was fun the times I went for socials a group books hotel a couple miles away and you share a taxi to the event. People have always looked out for me there. |

It's a good post, and if we were to guess then maybe the post is about safety as much as anything else. So jibes about big girl knickers are a bit misplaced. It's a big step going to your first club. Especially as there are only internet listings to go by.
Maybe consider.....

They vet all people. You have to provide ID to become a member. We are members and have known the club since it first opened.
We won't divulge their security arrangements but it is without doubt the safest place in London you'll ever find.
The owners take safety very seriously but it is unobtrusive. They will also arrange taxis to and from a hotel of your choice.
We can give you hotels very close to the venue by PM.
