"What’s in these play rooms?"
Mate, by “playrooms” they just mean rooms where people have fun.
It doesn’t mean there’s extra stuff in them necessaries rily. It’s usually just a bed, though the Townhouse does have a couple of “interesting” rooms.
It’s a nice clun. |

Great place. In fact the best in the northwest. On a plus point the owner doesn’t get d*unk and break all his club rules. Like some clubs .... this ones actually run professionally and if you look at the Verifications it gives you a good idea. Great for socials to
..... then again what do I. Know.

"Looking into the social side of things, what are your experiences with this place? "
Not a very friendly club. You have to make a big effort to get couples to talk. I went with my partner and throughout the whole evening only found two single chaps who spoke to us.
But saying that we were a bit nervous, so would be willing to give it another go and see if we get a different impression.

Like every other thread like this, I always say, have a look at the club reviews, hunt around the forums for other similar threads and see what a wide cross section of fab users say as many are attached/affiliated to other clubs and some are obviously our supporters, so do some research to see what the general consensus is.
I personally think that our very busy events speak for themselves, which you will also find a long history of in the events forum; people keep coming back, so that says a lot.
I'm not going to plug our club and convince you to go as I am obviously biased! But our reputation speaks volumes really and we are up there as one of the most highly reviewed clubs on Fab...take a look xx |

We found the same. We only had 1 single girl talk to us. We wondered round trying to mix to no avail. We are very out going and always first to speak to people but we got the cold shoulder from many. We ended up leaving just before midnight. Saying all this we do think Vicky has a great approach, always up front and not at all like other clubs, if you speak frankly she doesn't send you any abuse back like a lot of places. Think this is why Townhouse has such a good reputation amongst the regulars who go week after week and know each other. Its always difficult to break through, like any local pubs/clubs and swinger clubs are no different. Like we say always try somewhere for one self as you will find what is not for one, is for another. As a club the place was really nice and clean, not the biggest place we've been to but adequate. We didn't play as just didn't feel the love but had a good walk around |

Now thats a shame, and surprising too.
It does depend on the event as well as the club, so it may just be that you were there on a night that wasn’t so good for the social side...
I do hope you give it another try - and let me know if you do, it would be lovely to pop along & meet you after chatting on the forums for so long! x |

That sounds like a plan. I plan to revisit later this year and will let you know. It was just a regular Saturday, not an event as such , and I always think it's worth trying a club a few times before you can get a true picture of what it's like. So happy to give it a whirl.

We personally love Townhouse, Vicky, Jim and all the staff are always very welcoming and friendly.
I've got to say that you usually get out what you put in but sometimes (at any club or situation) things just don't click.
We like Chams, etc.too, it's bigger, has more rooms, etc. but Townhouse is definitely a better fit for us, just personal preferences. It's quite easy to go to Townhouse and just socialise and have a drink or two without feeling out of place or pressured.
There are lot's of different events run, we've been to a few, all are different but generally have one thing in common.all very well hosted and organised by great hosts. I personally love Buxom Babes run by Morticia and C loves Beauty and the Beard run by Mr & Mrs J, but we have yet to attend a few others which we are looking forward to.
I think the thing that comes to mind is, if at first you don't succeed, try again. If it's still not for you, find somewhere that is.
Cheers,
Bloke |

"Where about is this club? And would there be any interest in a single man there? "
Townhouse is on the Wirral. Read through their reviews in the clubs listings in here, and look for reviews left by single males. This will give you an idea about whether single guys are welcome, and when, as they have so many different events covering many different tastes/interests. This applies to all clubs, to be fair |

You'll find quite a few events that actively encourage single men. MILF Monday and Cluster fuck are just two straight off the top of my head. Sure there are lots of others too. |
