Chic nights at Libs and VA

Can see that there are Chic nights at both clubs next Saturday 28 Sept but the organisers appear to be different. Are chic nights at both clubs well attended or does one have the edge? Any info appreciated... |

Chic started out in Libs run by Mrs Deviants.
She then moved her events to VA but Libs still have their own version of Chic.
WE used to go to them when they were held at Libs but haven't been to one there since they moved. Personally we prefer them at VA, always rammed and always a very, very good night. Gutted to be missing next weeks, guestlist looks amazing  |

We though Chic at Libs was run by the promoter Mrs Deviants......and she moved to promote at VA. We went to Chic a libs, very hot crowd, Mrs deviants did an fabulous job. We have promoted our own night before, we are not sure people attending realise just how much work goes into creating and promoting a night, and as a promoter you are always vulnerable to the machinations of the club owners.
Are Libs really going head to head and using the name ? After they published the Chic emailing list as well by sending to all with email addresses..
Not again surely...not naming names but sex club land has a history of this with promoted events....
It does nothing for the attendees nor the clubs. The role of promoters seems to little understood by clubs and as for going head to head why ?.....
Club land is in the cusp of going mainstream and with a little joined up thinking there could be a gold mine of new people wanting to experience a good night out of clubbing with extra, which in turn might just create critical mass and clubs could reinvest and make the clubbing experience go from strength to strength.
make love not war ! Popcorn at the ready for this thread though.

Just a quick question, not disagreeing with your facts at all, but you said you haven't been to one at libs since they moved, but prefer them at the VA, how does that work  |

We went to them when they were at Libs, we now go to them at VA. We prefer them at VA, pretty self explanatory.
If you need me to elaborate more: Nicer venue, staff are brilliant, nicer on-site accommodation, better atmosphere, club adheres to GDPR, and the attendance is definitely higher.  |

We have also been to Chic events held at both libs and at VA, we do prefer the event now it's at VA. It just seems to have a better feel venue wise, the staff seem to be more organised in terms of bar service.
Libs wasn't a bad venue but genuine chic event has a loyal customer base and these have followed the event to it's new home at VA.

I can honestly say I have only ever heard of Chic at the VA?? Why would they try go head to head with Mrs Deviants? surely that is not great for both events! Not very clever if you ask me!
I have atteneded Liberty Elite Club previously on another night - very quiet but a beautiful club. Worth a visit if you like hot tubs and food, buffet was pretty damn good tbh.
I’m excited to attended Chic at VA this Sat to show off my Jamaican sun tan.

Ah OK, although you can't really comment on the chic event itself at libs, I can understand you preferring the club layout and decor, they are quite different.
I struggle to understand how gdpr, the bane of my life, would effect a night out in a swinging club so presumably that was just a dig. |

It is, especially with all the recent changes. Agreed. Do you still go to them all, would be fun to have a catch up, although I'm sure you haven't worked out with who yet, lol. |
