Where are you staying? I've been a few times and there were always a lot of very fun loving Australian women on work trips in the hotel bars. Look out for conferences going on with Australian companies and then look out for parties at the hotel bars near them.
Other than that a good place to meet people is the Downtown Core and CBD area, Clark Quay, around Suntec (when there are conferences) and possibly the Long Bar at Raffles (I've not been since Raffles was rebuilt).
Last time I went was 2018 and we'd not been swinging long but I did have a free pass. Typically it was just a 7 day work trip and I was incredibly busy during the week so never got to go out, but got accosted by a group of partying Australians as I was leaving the bar at midnight on the Friday night who wanted me to go with them, I was sorely tempted to stay up with them as they wanted to party but my flight was mid-day the next day.
