Is it a fine line between a knocking shop thinly veiled as a swingers club or a club that genuinely is just a swingers club with no expectations like swingers club should be. Should you encourage staff to play to keep customers happy, basically prostituting them out. Of course its up to staff to play if they want to, it is a swingers club after all but expecting is another thing. I personally think a swingers club is just that. No expectations, no guarantees, sex is not paid for.

We absolutely do not allow our bar staff and managers to play whatsoever whilst on duty and when we are working we don't play either.

Our customers are paying to use our facilities and need those facilities to stay clean, fresh and safe; they also need drinks serving throughout their visit. If we were all off playing, who would watch the cctv to ensure the safety of our customers coming in and out of the building? If we were all off playing, who would change the beds, clean the toilets throughout the night, top up the condoms, collect and wash glasses, serve drinks and ensure nobody is sitting in the corner alone?? People don't just pay for the chance to meet other swingers, they pay for our professionalism and that means we are there to work...not play, ever! Even when our staff are off duty and come in socially, they are never expected to take part in play and often enjoy simply catching up with customers they have become friends with. We all enjoy swinging in our free time, not when were are proudly wearing our Townhouse staff badges and lanyards!

Well we know where we are going to if we visit Liverpool and surrounding area. Totally what we would expect from a club, any placeu worthy of describing themselves as such would be expected to operate in the same way in our opinion.

All depends on what you want from your night. Its why a lot of people liked Amour, also why Townhouse and Cupids are two of the best clubs around

I wouldn't expect to go in a pub and see the staff getting pissed just because they work in a pub!

We took the decision 10 years ago at the club to not mix the two. We thought long and hard as we were very wuiet when I took over and we were competing with many other clubs thst do bring girls in as the norm.

But we decided we were a pure swingers club and wanted to be totally professional and all our staff and volunteers are aware and to be honest while people are working they are to damn busy!

But I will say that I think some have been tempted with offers and I definitely know if they knock off early or come in later they will play then when they are off duty.

So its definitely what Vicky at Townhouse said (very professional) and as the op said its a fine line between swingers club and brothel, but for Clubf its crucial that there is a line.

I’m a hostess at Townhouse and I don’t play while working either. So it doesn’t matter which side of the bar we are working. It’s my bugbear that some people expect hosts to play or get the party started because it happens elsewhere. We get asked a lot to play during our hosting shift

We have a prearranged ‘clock off’ time whether it be a Townhouse event or a private party. We either go home or take off our lanyards and dress down like everyone else and become a customer. Then we might play. Usually, we don’t as we can’t switch off from hosting duties and end up socialising or checking things are continually running smoothly.

There are at least a couple of clubs in the midlands, no names mentioned that have paid hostesses to service their customers, effectively hiring prostitutes as hostesses. There are several good clubs around that do not engage in behaviour as such. Id expect people to swing at clubs out of choice, not financial gain.

Rochdale/Manchester/Blackpool and were ever the mood takes me

I hostess at cupids as well as work there and we dont play whilst on sgift after all were there to make sure all ur swinging needs are met not ours or we wouldnt be doing our job properly .

If however we finish work and we decide to stay then we dress down and then effectively we are the customer too even though sometimes u cant help taking a few glasses to the bar on a very buzy night but at the end of the day if ur working ur working thats what your paid to do xxx

We used to host and sometimes we played but was always pre arranged at a particular time and with people we already knew, naughty naughty us eh? I think this really is about two things:-

1. Clubs that actually pay girls to play.

2. Hosts that encourage people to attend there events by intimating they will play with them.

Not in agreement with both of these scenarios, point 1 is not the ethos of swinging, but at least generally upfront (ie the club in Aston) so people know what they are getting, it’s when it’s done in an underhand way, some greedy girl events for example (how many men know the lady they played with is a prostitute?)

Point 2 is galling with hosts doing this especially from couples where a single lady profile is set up specifically to cajole people to attend, its underhand and a lazy way of getting people to attend there event.

Both of these scenarios are not hearsay we are well aware of this going on but have no intention of naming & shaming, but none of the posters on this thread are guilty

Must be bored

We have attended a club that openly has paid girls there when questioned about it we were told that it keeps the single guys busy and out of the way of the couples and single ladies. Now we refuse to go there as this is not what swinging is about for us. We also have attend a club under a different name that uses the same venue as said above club and because of said club has brought the reputation down of all the club's that use the venue, as the single men that turn up expect the girls to be there. This is unfair on the other clubs as they do not allow them in.

I have never played if hosting. I'm there to make sure everyone else is having a good time and deal with anything.

I did have people assume I was paid by clubs when doing gg events though.. And I wasn't

To be fair I have been as a single female to a club that had paid hostess girls... And I found it to be an amazing night as the guys knew that there were girls that would play And didn't hassle me in the slightest so do not have an issue with club a that do this as long as they are up front about it.

I had the opposite experience, at a club I visited once that had “paid hostesses”. I found the single guys very touchy and too forward!!! They definitely had an expectation that I would “play with them!!” I thought they greatly lacked any respect, that I always find single guys have, in all the other clubs I have visited!!

We left, worried for those singles guys, if they ever visited a swinging club somewhere else!!! They wouldn’t survive!!!

I have had similar experiences at events that had paid women and with guys who were used to going to events with paid women. They treat all women like things, not people. Even when they know you are not there for money, they cannot snap out of the "user" mode. Even their compliments... I once got "You are the best one here". The best WHAT?!
