Ok this might be a little long winded but here it goes.
I'm considering going to a club for the first time but I am a little nervous to go alone so I wanted to ask a few things.
1. is it worth going to a club?
2. do you have any advice for a first timer?
3. what was your first time like?
If anyone could help and give me advice I would be very appreciative.

Definately worth going, we were really nervous the first time we went (understand it is probably more of a worry for a single man). Once there we realised we had no need to worry. We found everyone, including the single males who we had read so much about on forums etc being a problem, they werent at all!
Best bit of advice is to not hide away in the corner, maybe stand at the bar and chat to people, nothing wrong with saying its your first time.
Not for everyone, but we found the smoking area the best place to chat to people, as strange as it sounds!

Totally agree with RJcouple! If you go with no expectations beyond going in to see what it's like inside then you'll be fine.
Look approachable and happy and try to start some conversations. If people are playing in open rooms, feel free to watch but don't crowd them. If you look like you're enjoying the show then you may get invited to help out  |

I guess it depends on the club and who’s in. I’ve tried a few and I have to say all have been an enjoyable and positive experience. Don’t go expecting to ‘play’.
Generally the people in charge will be very welcoming and you will meet and chat to some lovely people. |

If you don't go, you won't know  Pick a pub or nightclub near you, that you've never been to before, then pop in one night. Going to a swingers' club is no different mate, honestly. If you visit one once, and don't like it, at least you'll have something 'different' to chat with your work mates with, plus your curiosity will be sated. You may even enjoy the experience  |
