We howled this morning when we read it to be honest!!! Some of the lines are priceless and the facebook comments are hilarious.
I really need to add though that the Virgin Media guys didn't sell their story to the newspapers. There are journalists on here who have mined everything from the MILF Monday thread on the Events forum.
Journalists live amongst us so don't say anything that you don't want in the papers.
Is it bad that I am DELIGHTED we made it to LADbible and it has hundreds of shares???? hahahaha |

We have had about a 300% increase in enquiries but as we don't just let people walk in off the street, it won't affect the quality of the guests who attend the club.
For those who may be concerned about Virgin Media being present at the event, I need to reiterate that Virgin Media did not breach confidentiality and blurt to the media. The story has been mined off Fab by Journalists who skulk around on here as the info and quotes have been taken directly from these forums.
Also, as I have said before, the work they were doing was urgent. Our fire alarm system and cctv relies on internet connection and we can't legally open without it. Therefore Virgin were with us before we opened to fit new wiring and for a very short time after opening to ensure that we had working internet upon opening so we could take customers on the premises legally.
My decision to allow these guys into the club was based on safety and legality. Do I cancel the event an hour before we are due to open, after people have travelled for miles to get to us, or do we open as usual and race to get the job done in time for opening and hope that there's only a small overlap? I chose the latter, knowing that the guys wouldn't and couldn't breach confidentiality.
The event went ahead as normal and the guys were very professional and a tad red faced. |
