Why is it that clubs generally seem to open 9ish or even later? By the time you’ve chatted and got going it’s getting towards midnight before the action starts, surely most people are not at there best that late at night, this is further compounded by the excessive drinking of a fair number of people too
Why can’t clubs open 7.30 or 8? |

We are planning on opening up in the evening from 7pm onwards at our new club because as swingers ourselves is a gripe we have had in the past.

"Most places open at 8 but don't get busy until after 9:30 so it would be pretty pointless opening earlier."
Is that because loads go to the pub first? We are ready by 7 and want to play at 9 ish before it turns into a load of d*unk fumbles, maybe there is a opening for an early bird night somewhere |

A lot of people travel considerable distances to clubs like we do and if it's after work, by the time we get home, eaten, bathed and changed then drive to where we're going, it's often 9 or 9.30 |

Our experience it's because one half (I'm not saying which for fear of crucifixion ) was taking ages getting ready.
A lot of people will have to get the kids/babysitter all set, get to the hotel after a potentially long drive, get ready etc. In order to make to the club by 7 they'd have to be heading off in the afternoon for a night out |

A 9pm start on a Sat for us, even with a 2 hr drive, is a tad too late.
On a Friday with work commitments we like an 8pm start, so could go earlier on a Sat.
If the parents are on babysitting duties they tend to take them in the afternoon anyway |

Not everybody are unfortunate to have to arrive so late! I have been put off a lot of clubs because by the time they`ve opened, the later arrivals arrive and get warmed up, I need to be asleep! |

And even arriving at Chams at around 5pm at times, you meet with the early afternoon customers leaving! |

Get home from work, wind down, sort out meals, supervise kids homework, shower and get ready, sort childcare, drive to club. No way would I be ready for 7 or 8 oclock. As I don't work weekends, I am happy to arrive at 9. Socialise and have a dance . Plenty of time to play before the club closes at 3am.
Club staff may have day jobs they have to get home from too.
There are club's around that provide for daytime or early evening visitors, but since the club's I have visited don't seem to get busy till after 10, I don't see many club's wanting to go down that avenue.
It's a case of checking out other clubs to find one that suits you |
