I have been on fab a while an met some nice people on here. They have always recommended I attend a club.

I am a confident bloke but the idea of attending a club makes me quite nervous as I don’t know what to it expect.

I was wondering If any of you could help like what’s it like going as a single male.

Any help would be appreciated

Clubs welcome single guys, as long as they follow the club rules & etiquettes!!

You’re lucky in that there are many clubs in the north west which all offer something different.

Personally, Townhouse is my favourite and is very happy to welcome new single guys ... but that’s just my opinion!

I’d suggest looking in the club reviews, specifically for reviews from single guys & see which one feels like your kind of place. You’ve got at least 6 clubs in easy travelling distance, so take your pick ... or try them all!!

Good luck

If you go to a club... expect nothing but chat. Make a conscious effort to talk to as many people as you can, and not just the ones that you fancy.

You might get lucky, you might just chat with some lovely people.

Stoke area

Read the club website regarding rules, how to join, if you can join on the night and what night single guys can attend.

Be brave, once inside the door it gets easier

You will have a tour of the club and chance to ask questions.

Look nice and smell good.

Chat to people at the bar or social area. Chat to anyone and everyone. No good waiting till later in the night and then hope to join in. If you are friendly and make the effort to introduce yourself, you have more chance to get involved.

First visit....plan to check out the club and see what it's all about. Go to enjoy the whole experience and see how it goes.

Smile and have a good time.

Preston/Merseyside

You are spoilt for choice in the NW: Townhouse & Club Entice are both near you. If you want to venture further afield Manc/Blackpool clubs to chose from.

Visiting clubs as a single male? I have posted many times about my experiences, click the little green arrow next to my name to aid your research

If you are specifically looking to just lose your club virginity (as per your profile status), I recommend you look for a ‘Greedy Girls/Milf Monday’ style event, where single guys are ACTIVELY SOUGHT. You also don’t usually need to fork out on a club membership to attend one of these events.

As has been said earlier; you are handily located for a choice of some great clubs, just do read through the reviews from any you are particularly interested in, concentrating on those left by other single guys. Good luck

I didn't realise people don't need to be a member to go to club's if it's a greedy girl event. I know that is not the case where I attend. Can you let me know which club's this applies to please.

As others have said, treat it as a night out - aim to socialise, enjoy and relax Anything else is a bonus.

The men who get on well make the effort to talk to people, whether or not they're interested in playing, and respect the boundaries of others in the club.

A number of private guestlist events at Townhouse are open to both members & non-members. It will always say in the event listing as there will be member & non member prices listed

Can I make it very clear though that non members must bring ID to come in as a guest to fulfil our licensing requirements. People can't just come in as non members and get away with proving who they are x
