Don’t a lot get deleted ? I once dared to write about a bad experience in one of the most popular clubs and got some very sharp replies from some of its members.
So the comments above don’t surprise me. Bit sad really that people can’t voice their opinions and experiences. |

You may have a point there, about the deletions; a couple of times when I’ve been checking out the reviews, I’ve noticed people saying things like “ignore the comments below, we always have a great time here” etc, but then there was no ‘bad’ review. Sounds like something was deleted
I’ve received a bit of negativity in the forums because I was honest about my club visits too |

Yes just checked a club I saw an avoid for recently. The couple had been regulars and gave quite a detailed account of a bad experience. It’s been removed. Do clubs think people are stupid enough to believe that everyone has a fantastic time? It starts to look unbelievable. |

Fun For Two in Preston. This was named after the famous Dutch club but that's where the similarity ended.
Basically a large detached private house with indoor pool in an upmarket area of the town. Only went once and there were three people in the club, the owner and two naked girls in the pool who were off their faces on something other than booze.
Oh and not forgetting the owner's Alsation which had free run of the place - I kid you not.
According to the local paper, the club was closed down after complaints from neighbours. |

We went to a club full of sweaty men in their pants and wearing masks who kept grabbing hold of us and pinning us down on the floor...
Wont be returning to Club Lucha Libre in a hurry  ...

Chams Darlaston Very relaxed atmosphere, loved everyone being dressed down throughout the club, friendly welcome by both staff and attendees, loads of places to chat, drink, dance, watch and play  |

Everyone’s views will be different as if you have a bad night at a certain club then you may not rate it.
We will all have our favourites (ours is Chameleons) Been to others but still put this at the top of our list, it’s the whole package, nice environment, great staff and even if we don’t play we always have a good social. |

Being honest we have had some poor nights at Chams. Nothing wrong with the venue just our bad luck there was no one that we wanted to play with. And that is the problem for clubs. Some one goes and has the above experience and it is the Club that gets the stick not the punters.
We are hopefully mature and experienced enough to shrug and hope its better the next time for us.

My worst club was at Blackpool connections, it was a great club until the owner sacked two members of there staff who new how to run the club after they had left the club went down as the owner did not no how to run the club people went to the club but it was closed when advertised as open and also kept changing the website did not give it a chance last time I herd it had closed down because th owner was very ill. |

Rare I post on a forum but have to say that hu9 is the worst club, will also recive prob numerous messages of abuse for this but hated the fact that I felt unsafe and the fact they just let anyone in, was there for the second opening night, I only meet couples and they decided to let anyone in. Luckily met a few couples but decided to leave. No lockers were available no place to change safely, not much I can say about the decorating as from what I saw it was rushed and poorly put together can honestly say wouldn’t touch again with a barge pole, sad really as I had hoped it would be somewhere to go |

I’m one of those people who can detach club experiences from the actual club.
I’m not interested in who went and what sort of experience they had (unless it’s about them allowing punters to get pissed or high). I want to know about facilities, location, parking, cleanliness, style and what sort of club it is, cost, opening hours, popularity that sort of thing.
For example, I’m extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke so I won’t be going to Xtasia (a club I rate highly) unless there’s something on I really don’t want to miss as the doors to the smoking area are nearly always left open because it gets hot in the club.

I see where you're going wrong here. Clubs are dry biscuits, not designed for dunking.

I had a bad night at a club once, but it wasn't the club's doing, it was the idiot I went with. In fact the club did everything they possibly could to help me, they really looked after me. To be honest, these clubs wouldn't be in business for very long if they were truly that bad, so when people write scathing reviews it does make me wonder how fair they're being and whether they should be taking some responsibility for their own actions. People don't like being told "no", whether it's "no you can't have another drink", or "no you can't come in dressed like that" or "no you can't behave like that". The vast majority of us go, follow the rules, and have a great time. |

I've only ever written honest reviews about my club visits
