we're after some advise.

neither of us have been to a club before, both been put off as singles by how cliquey they appear, but figure as we are a couple it wouldn't feel as bad as at least we would have each other.

we're, well the female particularly is confused by the dress code, the dress up/dress down and areas u have to be dressed a certain way.

any help in dampening our fears would be appreciated.

Dress code will depend on which Club you are thinking of going to.

Checkout each Club's website and may be message the Club for advice.

Dress codes are very dependent on the individual club, your best bet is to contact them and ask direct.

Cupids is dress diwn straight away. Townhouse is smart downstairs but dress down upstairs (I think) both great clubs. No3 has a dress down time. So all different. Not sure about the leeds ones.

Once you decide, get in touch with the club to confirm the details. If you tell them you're new when you arrive they should give you a tour of the place. Also, see if any of your local clubs does a "newbie night".

Dress down is a towel or boxers for the guys & usually lingerie for the girls.

I buddy on some of the newbie nights at Townhouse so happy to give you any information you need!

Clubs that are dress down on arrival will ask you to get changed before going into the bar

area & you will remain dressed down all night.

Townhouse is not a dress down club. The ground floor has a bar & lounge and the dress code is smart casual (think night out in town kind of stuff). If you don’t want to dress down, you don’t have to. If you do want to, you can. The only obligation to dress down is if you go upstairs to the playrooms after 11pm. Before that you can wanted round upstairs without dressing down either if you want to. If you want to use the hot tub, you’re more than welcome to wear a bikini or shorts if you prefer - most people are naked but again, it’s your choice.

We have a Newbies night every Wednesday- it’s really laid back & a very social event. There are also Saturday newbie nights once a month (which is tonight as it happens!). Saturday’s are limited to 8 single guy members, so more couples & single females. Newbie events are always hosted with club buddies & hosts around to show you the club, introduce you to people, answer any questions & make sure you feel at ease rather than being left on your own.

If you’re interested, feel free to drop me a message, or look at the club website & see if it’s something you fancy trying! x

For men usually nice looking boxers. Nothing worse than a tatty pair with holes in that look in need of a wash!

I’m the hostess of the newbie night at Townhouse. Your questions have been answered below but if I can be of any more help, then just drop me a message. Happy to answer anything.

We also really focus on moving away from cliques and that’s why we have a hosted newbie night, so you have a point of contact that can introduce you to others x

No it's not like that at all. Unless it is a specific naked night then ladies usually wear sexy lingerie (I tend to wear basque, knicks, hold ups and heels or a baby doll etc) I have been to clubs alot and I have never seen anyone just walking round naked. Some are more clubby nights like xstasia where u dont have to even dress down. If you find a specfic club feel to pm me for advice. I know it stressed me out when I first went clubbing.

We went to the newbie night at townhouse... Not too full and not empty either. Was just right. Just aim to play with yourselves the 1st time and take things one step at a time was a nice club too re townhouse x

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Townhouse are building their reputation more and more, so bearing in mind where you are, they would be a very good choice for your first club!

Have a look at the website or the forums & see what events are coming up! The hardest part is walking through the door ... once you’re there, you’ll wonder what you were worried about!
