"Has anyone been to abfabs and could give us some feedback as we are thinking of attending ? Also anyone know why there’s no reviews on the club review page or are we just missing it ?" Kestrel Hydro/Abfabs are open 7 days a week and have a different feel according to whuch day or night you are going. Saturday nights are couples only. It’s a great place with lots of facilities. | |||

To offer some humble advice: 1. Go on a quiet night to check it out first with no expectations to meet or play. Use the facilities and enjoy your own company. Tuesday was/is really quiet. 2. Arrange to meet someone there or go with someone. You’re more likely to get to play. 3. Maybe avoid a Friday just in case it was overrun with single guys (unless you’re in to that, we’re not). 4. BYOB but soft drinks, tea and coffee are free. Soft drinks after 6pm/when the main house is open. 5. No means no, don’t be afraid to use it and report to staff if they get intimidating rather than get in a fight and spoil your night! (Your missus won’t want to see two guys wrestling naked, it’s just wrong on more than one level!) 6. Have fun but no expectations of playing or you will come away from there disappointed. | |||

One of the first clubs I went to. Can confirm Abfabs is amongst the best in the UK. Friendly, welcoming staff and the facilities are fabulous. Highly recommended  | |||

We found that Saturdays were very cliques, so if you are a little nervous, shy or not that relaxed to openly engage with others, then we advise arranging to meet or go there with someone. We know a lot of staff and people that go there, but we have seen couples just s_and around at the fringes looking awkward and not get chatting. They’d have more chance pulling in a bar, if you know what I mean. | |||

"Just one maybe two more things to add: Abfabs/kestrels have been going through a legal battle to stay open, for a few years now. Sadly they have lost a few appeals and is looking like they will close or possibly relocate to somewhere new. To that end the very last time we went (end of summer) it did have a lot of Eastern European and Asian men in there. To us it seemed like because they had lost the legal battle, they were money orientated and just letting anybody in, especially single guys at £50/60 per guy. We arranged to meet someone there and we found it difficult to get a private room and were followed a lot. We decided that perhaps it was time to find a new club and have since been to LB. more expensive but the night we went it was full of stunning people. " Abfabs has stayed open despite the doom sayers and has every intention of staying open. If you go on a Saturday then it’s couples only. Like any club it doesn’t suit everybody and most of us continue to enjoy going. | |||

"I think they have changed Thursday’s to a gay guy night. They used to do a deep clean apparently on Thursdays after 6pm. We last went on a Friday back in the summer and sadly it didn’t smell very clean, not sure whether it is down to being open 7 days with no deep clean!" "I was there this evening. The people I spoke to were friendly enough especially the lady in the red dress really fun couple, it was a shame we didn’t have a full play. Anyway I would say if your a bi male i would appreciate before you touch you ask. I was decent enough to say no For the nice couple from south Hampton and the lady from yorkshire it was a shame we didn’t speak more Anyway had some fun just was wondering expecting more -" Some people have been spreading false infirmation this week that the pool was shut etc, so may not have been as busy as normal. We know personally of people who said they weren’t going because they had been told the pool was out of action. | |||
