We've attended a small local club before but looking to step it up for Jens birthday
We've read the reviews and both tock all the boxes
Any recommendations or pro/cons?? |

Hello, never been to VA but have heard many negative comments about it. Expensive bar, no private rooms, expensive entry.
I am a member of jaydees and this is no way a bias plug here, but it is one of the best clubs I have been to. Very friendly staff, you can bring your own booze, plenty of private rooms, open play area upstairs with a couples only room at the end, very friendly clientele and to top it off, a stunning jacuzzi which can hold about 25-30 in there. I love it there as a single non pushy guy it has a very relaxed atmosphere. I am going on the 16th, so if you do decide to go, I’ll give you a wave or catch you in the jacuzzi. 
Oh by the way, you can book the rooms to stay over if you wish also. Just bring your own bedding. |

VA was my go to club for a long while, and the first Number One Chap and I frequented together, it’s a lot better on a party/theme night than not. Recently we had our first visit to JayDees and absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere, good crowd and bloomin’ lovely owners and staff. Definitely going back in the new year. |

If you are looking for a classy venue for Jens Birthday, honestly VA is the place!
Va has the plush bar area, like a proper country pub, big chesterfield sofas, a licensed bar, a dress code that is adhered to, a limit on single guys (oh hang on just seen that you're looking at the saturday night so VA will definitely be where you want to be!!)The bar prices are just like any other pub or club.
Once you go through to the play areas, everyone is expected to dress down to lingerie or a towel/boxers, totally the norm apart from Bi Night when dressed TV/TS are allowed into the play areas. The hot tub is amazing, warm and you are allowed to play in the pool, in fact it is encouraged, it has the most high tech of filtration systems you certainly won't be swimming about in someones else gook. there is also a dedicated couples area.
The hotels rooms are PROPER hotel rooms too, you aren't expected to stay in a room that someone else has played in and potentially left theirs and others used condoms in, you aren't staying in play rooms you are staying in a dedicated hotel area. Ive seen the rooms and they are lovely, honestly if you didn't know you were staying in a swingers clubs you wouldn't have a clue.
Out of the two, I would say the VA is your best shot at an enjoyable, classy sexy night out. if you want anything less than that, you'll be heading elsewhere |

If you want some of the best style and class available on the club scene in the UK then the vanilla alternative is the one.
The licensed bar isn't that expensive atall it's normal prices. It is very well presented and immaculately clean.
Great music with a dance area but also a comfortable seated area with plush sofas if you want it a little quieter so you can talk.
A completely revamped couples only play room.
It is true that there are no private play rooms. Though in the main room there are individual beds and we have never had any interruptions in there when we have been playing unless asked for.
The hot tub is massive and the filter system the best we have ever seen on a tub. We have never seen it dirty, ever.
The hotel is well presented much like a travelodge/premier inn style and very very convenient as it is oart of the same building. Oh and if you did want a private playroom you can always use your hotel room. Or have an after party there and carry on the fun lol.
Staff are great and care deeply about their clientele, any issues are delt with very fast if they are made aware.
It isn't one of the top 3 club's in the UK for no reason. Go there you won't regret it.

Hi hopefully you choose us at Jaydees. You will totally love it here. We have fun and friendly people that come along. We have a disco and bar, you bring your own drink and the bar person looks after it for you. You then take home what ever you have left. (We do sell soft drinks, but your can also bring your own) Once upstairs there is a couples only cinema, and then a dungeon/grope area. There is then another area with 3 open play beds and relaxing/chat areas. Once downstairs there is a kitchen where you can help yourself to free tea and coffee. We also supply a free substantial buffet. Then through to our purpose built large and luxurious 30 to 40 seater Jacuzzi. we do ask that no one plays in it and uses the two round beds each side. We do have a very good filtration system installed. Once out of there we have a sauna next to the shower and after that there is 8 private lockable playrooms that people stop in over night. I myself (Tracy) personally goes round each night and empties all the bins and cleans anything left around before people use them for the night. Most people who use them through out the night are respectful and leave the rooms as they found them. Then you can leave the next day after making yourself a cuppa up to 1 pm. We also allow free, camping, caravans and motor-homes.
I wouldn't normally do such as long review but due to the previous comment i felt the need too.

We've been to lots of clubs.
Of the two you mentioned... In my opinion, if you are looking for something a little special, go for VA.
Not that Jaydees is bad it's just that VA is more "classy". They don't have private rooms though.
You could also try Liberty Elite, another rather plush club. There are hotel rooms at Liberty too but they were not to the same standard as the club.

As you can see from he responses, there are devotees of both clubs! I've been to both and they are really different - it really depends on what you want out of the night and what level of play/privacy you are looking for. The only way to find out which suits you is to try both I would say! Everyone will have their own view and some people have clear loyalties to one club or another, but enjoying different nights and different clubs is (I think) the best way to enjoy the scene. Have a fun night wherever you choose x |
