"So which would you say is the best in the UK or even Europe and a good reason why ??x"
For us it has to be Chameleons in Darlaston, It ticks every box for us great staff always busy with a good mix of sexy people, We love the theme weekends and the fact you can stay over is a big bonus... three hour drive but worth every mile. |

OP you can ask a hundred people and would get a variety of answers.
It is all subjective. What one person/couple loves the next may hate.
I've been to a few clubs here in the UK and my favourite so far is Cupids in Manchester. I've not been to any overseas clubs.
There are plenty more clubs I want to visit though so that may change when I've tried them out |

Stoke area |
I have been to a couple abroad and Attic, Townhouse, Chams Darlaston, Chams Newport, Mingles, Adventures and Atlantis.
My club of choice is Atlantis. It's a sensible size with good clean facilities, it's a very relaxed friendly club, nice mix of people and it feels very safe and no pressure. But what suits me, doesn't suit everyone. |

We've been to several in the UK and it's always Townhouse that sits at our No.1 spot
It's spacious whilst stil being cozy. It's professional yet still friendly. It's clean without being sterile and lacking charm. It draws a wide range of visitors and has an excellent variety of themed nights. |

"Fata Morgana in The Netherlands. On a different level to any UK clubs."
Fata is a great club and like many in Europe is in a totally different league to anything we have seen in the UK.
However we would only rate it as the second best club in Holland. For us Fun4two is the best in Europe, if not the world.
Close behind Fun4two and probably on a par with Fata would be Die Eule at Rattingen Nr Dusseldorf.
Although we've not tried it yet we are getting rave reviews about the new "Life" club Which is almost on the Dutch/German border at Gescher.
All of those are couples only so it would only be fair to include a couple of mixed clubs as well.
Our current favourite is the Steinenhaus at Hattingen (also Nr Dusseldorf) a huge club on 4 floors that regularly gets over 300 people. For top quality Caesars Palace at Sprockhovel (Nr Wuppertal) is another huge place with what is by far the best outside pool area and restaurant we have seen anywhere. |

For me, a club is all about the people. The nicest decor or best choice of facilities are irrelivent if there's nobody who floats your boat.
We've been to around a dozen clubs around the UK now and most have good and bad bits.

A few have now mentioned fata morgana as being in a different league but nobody has said what makes it better? What is it that the UK clubs are lacking? I've never been to a club outside the UK. |

Been to several clubs, but the one that's my favourite is chams in darlaston. It's the only club I'm comfortable going to on my own. The staff are fantastic and the club has a relaxed, cosy atmosphere, with other areas for different presences, but not right in your face. Pretty much every member I've met have been pleasant and approachable and engage in conversation without expecting things to go further.
I've not felt this at any other club, but most of the other clubs have been nice and I would return, just not alone. |

This could become an essay LOL.
Firstly size. The better clubs in Europe regularly get 200-300 and sometimes more people. Of course there are smaller clubs as well but between Germany and Holland there are dozens of that size.
Facilities. Anyone who has seen the wet area in Fun4two will know what I mean. Where in the UK would you find a bubble pool that will take 30-40 with its own bar area and to a standard that would grace a 5 star hotel? The disco and bar area which is as good as any top nightclub and I've lost count of exactly how many but, over a dozen themed playrooms.
At Caesars Palace the outside pool and bar area is what you would expect in your Spanish holiday hotel and the food is better.
Almost every club in Germany/Holland has a restaurant included in the price. Some can be a basic finger buffet but at the better ones it is a proper hot/cold meal and again nearly all include free bar. Non of that BYOB nonsense.
Last but not least, Dress code. Nearly all (it could actually be all because we haven't found one that doesn't) German clubs and the better Dutch ones enforce their dress code. Some expect dress down from a certain time, most direct you to the locker room on entry. Street clothes are not allowed and wearing towels outside of the wet area is seriously frowned upon.
I know that many of the UK clubs have considerably upped their game from the days when I (Mr) used to be a regular and some of the owners should be congratulated. Attitudes and laws in the UK make it a lot more difficult than on the continent. However from what I see and hear and our occasional visit back home there is still a fair way to go.

Some of those things that are better would not transfer well to the UK I guess. No club can spend the money to have beautiful outdoor facilities when we have such a short and unpredictable summer. And the byob is likely here to stay for most uk clubs due to licensing issues. And some councils are still very much opposed to 'adult venues' where the continent can be much broader minded. I think the continent take food a lot more seriously as part of their socialising its a big deal. In the UK many would grumble as a restaurant meal included must fairly push the price up. Is it a lot more expensive for entry? I don't mean to sound so negative just seems these are all barriers to the uk having the kinds of venues you are describing. Like you said some uk clubs have made great strides. I guess the rest comes down to personal taste, a club holding hundreds, nightclub atmosphere and a hot tub for 40 would be a nightmare for me, I prefer smaller and quieter. Sounds like Xstasia might be the closest the UK has to what you are describing? |

Fair points on the licencing and attitudes of local councils. Like I said, attitudes and laws will always make it more difficult in the UK.
The food and free bar in most clubs does make it more expensive but in many cases not by as much as you may think. Yes there are some that will charge a couple anywhere from 70-100€ for a night but there are lots of others where it is 40-50€ and still all inclusive. Also midweek and Sunday rates are a lot less without changing the formula. There are also some smaller clubs that charge as little as a tenner and still do (albeit limited to beer wine and soft drinks) free bar and snacks.
Where I truly sympathise with UK club owners is when it comes to the element of risk when opening or investing to improve a club.
While any business in any country has risk, spending a considerable amount of money on a venture that could be pretty much closed down on the whim of some town hall official must be very scary. |

We thought UK clubs were good until we tried 2x2 in Gran Canaria.
There's a bar, it's free for single females and mf couples but you must order at least one drink. Guys are limited and pay €30 to get in. We both absolutely loved the place.
The second night we went, as soon as you got in, you had to totally strip naked, no clothes allowed. That made the night so much better. |

This food and swinging thing is something we just don’t understand at all.
Considering that swinging is mainly about action and attention below the waist line, why eat and promote stomach activity before getting on with the sexy stuff?
I recall a local Vlub s few years ago was advertising s Christmas buffet for a pre Christmas Party and I just couldn’t help but wonder about the aftermath of Brussels sprouts and potatoes - I mean one on... that is just not what is needed in the heat of the moment. |

"So which would you say is the best in the UK or even Europe and a good reason why ??x"
Impossible to answer this question without accepting that any replies are going to be totally subjective according to the preferences and prejudices of those that answer.
A better question might be to state what you like and what you would be comfortable with and ask where others might recommend to suit. For example some people hate the idea of having to “dress down” whereas others thinknitva great leveller. Some people prefer the nightclub theme where the clientele is generally younger and dressed to kill whereas others prefer the sauna, social type of environment.
Ultimately it is about the environment that you would feel comfortable in and finding out places that suit. |

Definitely recommend Pandora at Leeds. You’d struggle to find a bigger club with such a wide range of playrooms, definitely something for everyone’s taste. It always has a great friendly atmosphere as well. Tried quite a lot of clubs over last year but Pandora wins hands down for me |

The question is very subjective because it all depends on what the person or couple wants to get from their club experience. (We're not just talking about sex here) One person's bowl of strawberries is another person bowl of carrots, as it were.
We would say that regardless of the type of club you like, the most important things that most people will like to see are:
A good standard of cleanliness.
Good hosts and well-mannered staff
Enforcement of club rules (Not point in having them otherwise)
Good use of space and imaginative playrooms.
Appropriate mood lighting and music.
Competitive pricing.
Get those things right and regardless of if the focus of your club is its dancefloor or its sauna facilities, it's going to be a good experience for someone.
The other thing, of course, is that you can have the best and most well-run club in the world but on any given night its only as good as the people visiting it. But if you get those things right, its unlikely to suffer from poor attendance.

Indeed. That is why the reviews section is so useful. Any Club with more than 1000 positive reviews and just a smattering of negative ones is probably a true reflection of that Club. |

There's more to it than that. It's also got to do with the clientele that you seek to attract, and retain.
As an over-50yo now, with a big-bloke's physique, I can say this, that there are two prominent clubs near me, one of which I can go to and leave feeling like the oldest swinger in town, and the other one I can leave feeling properly young and slim.
I've been to clubs which have been run like working mens clubs, and others which have tried to go up market. Different approaches will attract different people, and reactions to those environments will depend on the individuals, what they are used to and what their expectations are. |

Totally this - if you look at my profile, it’s fairly obvious I’m going to say Townhouse as (in my opinion) it’s a fabulous club. But for someone else, it might not be their cup of tea. The fact we are all different is what makes life interesting!
The club reviews section will give you a much better idea of which clubs suit you best OP |

For me I have been to Chams, partners, amours, Cupid’s, cjs, abfabs, eureaks....as well as a few others that have closed
I would say I love abfabs for its facilities however I find it a bit expensive, so for me it’s a treat once in a while. The staff are ok
Chams cheaper but I have only been with a friend and not on my own. Facilities and rooms are good. Staff are decent.
Cupids and amours very similar, I would say Cupid’s is slightly bigger but amours is in city centre. Price is about the same for members. I tend do go to amours as I am in Manchester a lot |
