I would recommend Avarus club. It's in the city and easy to reach by public transport and is on the top floor of a complex featuring a billiard hall underneath.
We spent a week there recently and tried a few places, but many were a bit more fetish-themed, but that seems more par for the course in Berlin.
Avarus was quite chilled out, nice decor, friendly couples etc.
If you haven't already, suggest signing up to joyclub.de (use Google Chrome browser and set auto-translate from German to English). It is basically the German version of FabSwingers, and has a searchable list of clubs and events by date/location and we found this to be absolutely invaluable when planning our trip.

Not really a swingers club in the traditional sense though, and for someone not into the fetish thing would probably not be recommended 
If you go that route then Insomnia may be a better bet, but a lot depends on the theme of the night and weekends tend to be more black/fetish orientated too.

We visited Avarus on Saturday night. It cost €90 as a couple to enter, this included a buffet and drinks (inc branded drinks). There were around 12 couples there, and the club was a little empty. The average age was mid 50's and everyone made an effort to dress nicely. It was couples only and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.
We got there around 10:30 and most of the attendees were having an orgy in the curtained room, the noises were hot!
As stated the club is on the 5th floor of a building that also houses a billiards hall. There were several female staff who were all professional and the club felt very clean and classy. It perhaps lacked having a reconisable club owner/host who could have injected a bit more atmosphere into the place. We weren't sure whether the Saturday night numbers were a bit low as it was Halloween and perhaps a party was on somewhere else? |

We went to Templeoase , which is about 30 mins in a cab from the center. But wow, was it worth it!! E80 per couple inc good food and ALL drinks !! V upmarket. Couples only on a sat nite, so nice dynamic. We will deffo go again but next time stay in their onsite hotel !!
