"Taking a trip to Amsterdam early next year advise on best clubs please for couples "
Head to gouda for the night and go to fun4two instead. In a different league to any other cub we've visited
Fata Morgana was recommended to us but there was open drug dealing on the dance floor which really put is off. By open I mean the dealer stayed dressed in his tracksuit and bum bag unchallenged while the rest of the club dressed down and there were quite a few people taking his wears and pulling the faces and eyes like dinner plate to match. |

"Has anyone been to the club called someplace? X "
Do you mean Sameplace ?
We did go There, it's more of a glorified pub with a locked door. You have to ring the bell. We went on a Friday night around midnight and it was VERY quiet. 2 ladies possibly there as a couple, 1 couple and 2 single guys. We didn't stay long but one of the single guys was lovely so he left with us
Can't say we saw any drug dealing in Fata (I can't say it doesn't happen obviously), but it was heaving , well over 200 people and we had a fantastic night. |

Very surprised reading that about Fata, deffo one really nice, snazzy and the cleanest ever club we been in. Where the club is now is the new location and purpose built, dunno about how things were in the old place fata.
Either way, we'll be back there in mid December |

Bristol Area |
Fata Morgana is a great club, all inclusive food and drink. Expensive taxi ride from Amsterdam centre though.
SamePlace is a swing bar, nothing glam, however we’ll worth a visit. Walkable from for the Centre.

"Do you want advice? Or would you like us to advise you?
Noun or verb?"

Zurich. NOT London. |
Having been to Fata several times, I can't recommend it highly enough.
Rather than a cab from Amsterdam, plan your trip to include a night at the Van Der Valk in Almere, the direct train from Amsterdam to Almere is about 9euros.
The club recommended taxi service is 30euros each way from the hotel. It's worth noting that we have always shared a cab on the way back to the hotel, as its quite popular with clubgoers!
Have fun X |

to this reply for me too.
Except I won't be there in mid December but definitely recommend it and would go again for sure.
(Sorry to read that your experience wasn't great Nothing to see here.)
I went with some friends (new location) and we took an Uber back. The club did offer to call us a cab/taxi beforehand but we had already booked. I would say if you're not going to be driving, to maybe ask them to book one for you. As it is a fair drive - depending on where you're staying I guess but worth it. (We stayed just half an hour away.) |

It was the new location we attended. It was very uncomfortable and once you know that is happening and a blind eye being obviously turned it makes it hard to then enjoy the atmosphere in the rest of the club.
If we hadn't had such an amazing night the day before in fun4two we would have been more disappointed, instead we just found it a lot of money for a poor night that we left early as that's not our scene.
Tried same place as well, strange layout but everyone was friendly. As others have said it's a bar not a club though, it's main advantage being the location as in town. |

This is where we stayed and used the club taxi from there. Great hotel and makes the club trip into a great weekend x |

We went to same place a few years back as our very first venture to a 'swingers' venue and we were left a little disappointed.
It is basically a private members pub where some shananigans go on inside if people choose to.
Arrival was a door with a wooden hatch and the owner opened and if he liked the look of you you were allowed in.
The bar was ran as a tab with payment at the end and a minimum amount of drinks bought and we had no idea how much it was or how much we had ran up.
We weren't impressed. Not much going on, seemed rather unfriendly and put us off clubs for a while..........until recently, but that's another story.
We certainly wouldn't go back and it has nothing on the club we now go to......Quest.
Hope this helps. |
