Tried this newish place last night while on a stopover visit. Its got great potential as a venue but there were less than 10 people there, which for a Saturday night is awful. One couple who just sat there drinking all night and seemingly had no intention of playing, another couple who had a short 3some with a lady who worked there who seemed to be going through as many of the men as she could. That could have been good but the guy said he didn't want people watching dedpite it going on in an open room! The other 2 couples there seemingly were friends of the owner and stayed at the bar fully dressed and fully cliqued. So in short a big waste of time and the girl working through the men didn't appeal to me anyway. And to top it all off the 'hot' tub was in fact cold! We all tried turning up the temperature but 2 hours later it was still cold. So yes, good potential but they need to find a way to fill it up and get some vibe going. Playing loud 80s pop music in the lounge with 3-4 people in it doesn't really help. Why not play some smooth loving music to get people in the mood?!
Recommendation - avoid for now, see it improves in 6 months time or has closed down. |
