Amsterdam Paradise Club

We're in Amsterdam 24th to 28th August and are planning to try an evening at the Paradise Club on the Saturday. Has anyone been to the club and is it worth an excursion? Any tips or practical advice re dress code would also be appreciated. Thanks!
